No había mucho ambiente, pero la verdad, fue perfecto para mi en todos los sentidos a pesar de ello. La ubicación, lo bello que es el lugar, la comida, la comodidad... regresaría 10000 veces :)

Muy buena la ubicacion y los desayunos estan muy buenos aunque la gente que ahi trabaja no tiene actitud de servicio y atencion al cliente

Las instalaciones estan en muy mal estado en la habitacion y en las areas comunes, el staff tiene muy mala actitud de servicio, nunca regresaria a ese lugar

Common areas are very good.

Dorms are small, packed and without curtains. If you don't ask for the reception "forgets" to return 200 pesos deposit for the key.

I liked the vibe, the ambience, the people and the party themes. Also the free classes.

That I had to ask for things such as towels and basic information. The shared toilets weren’t that good.

Great location, with 2 pools to cool off and friendly and helpful staff. They have several types of rooms for all budgets and they are all well maintained and clean. The a/c and wifi worked great. Coffee shop in the front has great food too. The wellness area and the library have the best view and breeze. I hanged out there quite a bit.

The property has a lot to offer a solo traveller, enough space to work or socialise in a prime location. Highly recommend.

I really liked the opportunity Selina offers for solo travelers to meet new people and the activities they plan each night. The hostel's location is also really nice.

It was nice to be able to meet some other travelers and the location is fine. We really liked the rooftop pool!

The parties go on until late and this was really not what we expected and what we were looking for, as this is marketed as a co-working hostel we were surprised to be up until 2 am in the morning because of the loud music. The pictures make it seem a lot nice than it is, our room was quite old and the kitchen did not have proper cooking facilities. Also be aware when dropping of laundry to check the price with the service itself, as we were told it would be 60 pesos however had to pay a lot more than we expected, if we would have known before we might have looked for a different service.

The only thing that was good about this place was it was by the sea! That was a treat, but it was also next to a dance club which also means forget sleeping if noise is a problem for you.

When I checked in I was told that co-working was not included in the price, you have to pay an addition 300 pesos extra! That's the only reason I booked Selina to begin with, cause I had a work call that was important and it's a co-working place. It's like booking surfing lessons to show up and be told that the surfing board is going to cost extra. When I showed them my booking and asked where does it say it's not included, he answered me "Where does it say it is included?". I just assumed it was included cause it's a CO-WORKING HOSTEL! hahah He then proceeded to tell me that they've never had the problem before and I was being difficult. I was then told that I can get a refund and check in somewhere else if I am unhappy. It was 9 pm and he knew I wasn't going to do that, but the fact that he said that was so indicative on how they see customers. He ended up giving me a pass for the co-working. I wanna say it wasn't his fault,I believe that a staff treats customers how management treats staff. They need a serious re-training and make sure that their staff is happy to work there. You can tell they are not. Selina is one of the biggest name in the hostels in the world, fix this. - There were no plugs by my bed. - Loud club music until late at night - It was dirty (see picture) - Bed was uncomfortable - Not easy to meet other traveler if you're solo - Not worth what you're paying aka overpriced + There is a bar + Views over the ocean

I loved the pool and the vibe.

The free drink was only between 5-6 pm which made me sad cause I was going to the beach for the sunset. Drinks took a long time to receive in the evening but staff was very nice

The services were great. The ambience was nice, the hostel has great views and nice sports- and evening activities. Booking tours in the hostel was also very useful.

Outdoor installations: swimmingpool, gardens…

Rooms: old and broken stuff, not clean at all and even old and broken towels.

BELIEVE THE REVIEWS. I cannot reiterate this enough - the staff here are THE RUDEST AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING. Bar staff conveniently tell you they have no change for the notes you give them so take the whole amount and there's a miserable woman who says NO to everything from an entire group of us asking them to turn down the horrendous music at 3pm to not letting us consume anything outside of the kitchen. Finally, book a private room and you won't even be provided with soap!

I liked the location and the breakfast.

The room was in bad conditions, like the door and lockers and even though is a share room, I don't understand why staff there treats you poorly. I was confuse if this was a general treatment with everyone or just with mexican people. I did not felt confortable. The beds are average and not comfortable.

Some rooms don't look as advertised and are pretty run-down. They are ok to live in but way too expensive for what you get. Music could be selected better to fit the vibe. Feels somehow impersonal

The room was super clean, the bathroom as well. The staff is friendly, and they are organizing activities every nights. Although I think the best part was the coffee in the coffee shop, it super delicious, at a reasonable price. The wifi there is also super fast.

My bed was just under the air con and it was super cold. It kept me from sleeping, I went to ask to turn it off but it wasn't possible, they could only raise it of 1 degree. The hostel is super nice but I don't think it justify the price.
