We had a great Cape week! The house was well stocked and had a great amount of space for our two families. Only thing that was disappointing was that pool was hard to use and enjoy because of the volume of green heads (bugs). We tried 3x and ended up with dozens of bites and it wasn’t worth it. Also the path to the beach described was overgrown - we found walking the street easiest. Overall a great property and location.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house on the Cape! The location was perfect. A very short walk to the beach, and close to town, hiking, and biking. The house had everything we needed. Our group, ranging from 2 to 70, had the best week. We miss it already!

We had a lovely week, and we really enjoyed this family-friendly property. Our five grandchildren loved the pool, and we were impressed with the well-maintained gardens around the property. Great location, with everything you need close by. We were all very comfortable during our stay.

A niece and nephew plus their 4 children stayed at a house nearby and joined us for barbecues/meals/pool/beach. The house was great for a total of 13 and is easy walking distance to beach. I also loved the old and well cared for roses.

Rebecca (host) and Leslie (property manager) were outstanding because both were very prompt in responding and addressed every question and concern expeditiously. The home is beautiful, well located (short walk to the beach) with amenities in close proximity and ideal irrespective of your age. That said, the basement rooms got rather hot and could use a fan or AC (better). In addition, it was a challenge to open and close the front door. One has to yank the handle way up to open or close. An inexpensive lock will fix the issue in short order. Overall we all had a good time and are extremely thankful to Rebecca for all her suggestions and prompt responses.

It's location is perfection~there's a peek-a-boo ocean view! The layout is so easy for mulitple families where no one is tripping over each other and it's easy to go to bed when others aren't ready to yet. The decks are perfect for hanging out and have plenty of room-and again, multiple make it easy to have several different groups/conversations going. THE POOL!! The pool toys, the layout away from the house-you can not do better than this home! The owner is wonderful to work with and very thoughtful!

We enjoyed our stay with friends and family, had plenty of room for several groups! We loved how clean, tastefully decorated, and well appointed the home was! We loved that the beds were made very nicely with towels laid out on arrival, the kitchen had everything we needed and more, there was even coffee, filters, trash bags, and cleaning solutions for the sink, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The home smelled lovely with reed diffusers placed out, we loved being able to use the indoor fireplace, candles, grill, and the heated pool. The pool towels and beach/pool accessories came in very handy. We walked to the beach several times a day down beach road - maybe 5/10 minute walk if that. The home had gorgeous outside landscaping which was a great touch, plenty of room in the driveway for many cars. We would love to come back and stay again! What a lovely, relaxing and memorable weekend.

What a great stay, this is the quintessential Cape Cod experience, the property is absolutely stunning, beautifully maintained, you are under a 5 min walk to one of the most beautiful Beaches on the Cape,( Nauset Beach) when we needed to cool off the pool was amazing just a gorgeous setting, very private, when sitting on the deck in the evening enjoying the night air of Cape Cod the beach is so close you can hear the waves crashing against the shore, just an awesome experience, our host Rebecca was amazing, Thank you for sharing your most beautiful home with our family.

Had a great time at the house. Loved the pool and the proximity to the beach. Also the ample beds (and liked the mattresses.) Also the beach cart and toys were good to have.

My family has been renting homes in the cape since 1972. My kids were disappointed that the jacuzzi tub that was advertised was not functioning. The driveway was a bit difficult to pull into. The water and ice machine in the refrigerator was not functioning. Many of the windows were closed and unable to open. There was no beach buggy so we had to drive to the beach. There was only 1 towel and 1 hand towel/ person, no washcloths. The pool was amazing and the kids enjoyed it. I think when advertising this property, you should consider updating your site to reflect what is and is not functioning. I love the cape so our vacation was great but I don’t think I will rent here again, a bit overpriced especially with things not functioning or available as advertised.

The house and location are perfect. Such an easy walk to the beach! We particularly loved the pool at the house. The house was also set up really well for large groups and extended family. Overall it was extremely comfortable in a beautiful location.

We really enjoyed our vacation at your lovely home. The entire family loved the pool and beach trips. We did puzzles, went whale watching, saw the sun rise over Nauset and caught beautiful sunsets at Rock Harbor. We did beach days at Nauset and also at Skaket. We went for walks on the beach in the early am and by the light of the moon. We did some stargazing on the rooftop, had lobsters on the deck and ate our share of ice cream at Emack and Bolio’s. The kids never got bored. Thank you for sending over the supplies and for being a responsive host. We never did find the path to the beach, but the walk on the road was quick and easy.

This was the first time EVER I had all my family and grands under one roof! We created lots of special memories at 2 smith neck road!everything was clean and there was room for everyone. Thank you for a wonderful memory maker!

Close proximity to Nausset. Beach. Plenty of room for 4 families.

For a 50th anniversary, grandparents, parents, and grandchildren gathered together and had a wonderful time. The house was roomy with spaces for everyone, and the location was great for many activities for all ages.

After renting a different house every year for the past dozen or more, this fit us so well in terms location, size, amenities, that we are coming back next year. In June, visiting children who wouldn't go in the (cold) ocean water played for hours in the heated pool.

Plenty of room for everyone. Proximity to beach, pool excellent. Found everything we needed to enjoy the week. Thanks

Our family had a wonderful vacation at this lovely home in East Orleans. The home is beautiful, comfortable, and close to many attractions (easy walking distance to Nauset Beach). Our family of 8 adults and 4 children had plenty of space to cook, eat, sleep, and play in the pool. There were lots of pool toys to keep the kids busy & happy. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Communication with both the host and the caretaker was easy and questions were answered promptly. We highly recommend this home for a wonderful, easy vacation! We hope to come back again.

We had a wonderful time enjoying the pool and short walk to Nauset Beach. The house was everything the website said it was, wonderful kitchen to cook in and plenty of room for all 8 of us!

House was as advertised but the beauty of the outdoor landscaping and gardens was understated-they are beautiful! Fabulous location with a responsive owner and caretaker. House was constructed in the 80s and shows it age but was clean and well stocked. Perfect for our multi generational family gathering..would recommend it to friends.

Great location and proximity to beach. The property is great for families with multiple areas for people to mingle. The house was clean, spacious and well stocked with toys, games, etc. The property manager communicated well. The pool was heated and great for the kids. Would come back again!

This beautiful property is ideal for family and:/or friends. Plenty of living space with multiple decks overlooking the beautiful pool. A two minute walk to the beach is an added plus.

We had a really great stay at this Orleans home! The location was great, just a short walk to the beach, and we really enjoyed the pool which was very private from neighbors. We stayed here for 3 nights with 10 adults (ages 25-65) and 4 kids (ages 1-4) and it was a great set up for all! Many areas to hang out. We would stay here again!

We traveled with a group of 3 families including 5 young children and Rebecca's place was ideal. The house was really spacious - enough that it felt like each couple had its own space, as well as a bunk room that was perfect for the littles. The pool was great (and warm!) and the house is locate a very short walk/scoot to the gorgeous Nauset Beach.

The house is big and beautiful. We l9ved the pool. Very convenient for everything on cape cod. We had a great stay.

The house is beautiful- spacious, clean, gorgeous garden, lots of deck space to relax in the sun, warm pool. Being close to the beach was a real bonus- particularly with toddlers in our group. We could walk back and forth to the beach in five minutes. The house worked very well for our family- plenty of room to be together as well as room to have quiet time if so desired. Owner and property manager communicated well with us whenever a question arose. Definitely recommend.

We stayed at this property for 6 nights (Sun-Sat) and had a wonderful time. The house itself is very typical beach/lake house similar to other places we have stayed. The kitchen and living room were nice and open, a good place for us all to hang out. The house is kept clean and the caretaker came by to secure everything before the winds picked up and came to clean the pool afterwards. The really special parts of this house are the decks, backyard, pool and proximity to Nauset beach. The house is a little oasis surrounded by many types of trees and flowers. The heated pool is enclosed by a fence that our four year old could not open which is a huge plus if you have kids. She had a blast swimming and watching the bunnies in the yard. There are several restaurants and markets nearby. Nauset beach is beautiful. Even late in the season we walked there almost everyday to watch the sunrise, waves and seals. There were a few little things that came up during our stay and Rebecca was very responsive. Overall, we had a great family trip and would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!

The pool is the gem of this property. It was a well laid out house for a good sized group, easy to get to the beach and fun to swim in the pool!

This house is a walk to Nauset Beach, has a pool, and room for 7 adults to fit comfortably and have their own space. There is a big living space next to the kitchen which was very well stocked. The backyard is lovely. We had a great time.
