We all could not have been pleased more with Landfall Exuma. Hartswell area is the place to be and this is the perfect home. Communication with Desireen, the home manager was easy and she was very responsive without delay. The home was comfy in all aspects and it was exactly as described. The proximity to Moriah Harbor was ideal with a private boat rental for 4 days. If tides don't match your schedule to get though Haulover or the weather only gives you a tight window, just head over by boat to Kite Surf Beach and take in all the beauty there. At high tide, you can even make it up the inlet there to hike to the abandoned house. The navigation maps provided by the owners were invaluable as was the on water area orientation offered by Drex, the owner of our boat rental. We had reserved though another owner but he cancelled on us the night before. Drex came to the rescue at the last minute and we were so thankful it worked out that way. Would highly recommend renting a boat through him if you have prior boating experience. He is protective of his vessel and wants updates, but, rightly so. He lives and works in the area so if you should need his assistance for anything like we did with a blown fuse, he is right there for the rescue! If returning to Exuma with the same bedrooms needed, we would not look any farther for any other home but Landfall!

Pretty view, nice location. Well appointed house. Great kitchen. Only 2 baths, one downstairs. Upstairs bedrooms have open ceiling so a bit noisy, but overall a great house that we really enjoyed!

We loved this house and location so much!! This is our 3rd time in Great Exuma and the first time in Hartswell. We rented a boat from Brown’s Marine for the week and explored all of Elizabeth Harbour and the sand bars. The lazy river was our favorite. The home is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for your stay. Don’t pass this home up.

We spent a wonderful, relaxing week in this beautiful home. The kayaks opened up the entire bay area for exploration. The home is spacious, comfortable, and clean, with a gorgeous view of turquoise water! Communications with the property manager and check-in were a breeze. Highly recommend!

This is our second stay at Landfall and it is simply amazing! Incredible views, quiet, beautiful house and hosts that are so easy to communicate with. Can’t wait to return next year!

We enjoyed this house for spring break with our daughters and 2 friends. This was our 3rd trip to Exuma, but first time staying at this property and in this area. The location was fantastic. The view from the porch is amazing. The layout was perfect for our group. The provided maps and instructions were very helpful. Desereen the property manager was great. We rented a boat and kept it at the dock for 3 days. The house had everything we needed. Plenty of towels. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here in July and I can't believe it has taken me this long to review our stay. It was, to put it in a few bold words, SIMPLY MAGICAL. Everything was thought of from the cleanliness of the place, to all the extras (paddleboards and sea kayaks), kitchen was well stocked, and loved loved the location. This was our 2nd trip to Exuma and we had stayed at the the Grand Isle before and knew we could do it so much better on our own, out of a resort. We did bring our own frozen meats, which may sound weird, but grocery prices are high and since it's allowed, it was very easy to do and the meats are still frozen upon arrival in a carry on. The dock was a really nice bonus. We hired Dwight, who was recommended by the home owner and he was amazing! We are not avid boaters but the owners of the house have provided really nice laminated maps to help you on your adventures. Go slow, have fun, easy peasy! An absolute must, is to hit Soft Sands Beach, not far from the house and we had it all to ourselves the whole stay. It can be kind of tricky to locate it at low tide, but use the maps, go slow, you'll get it!!! Most beautiful beach I have ever been on. The location can't be beat. It is out of the touristy fray and pretty quiet at night. We will definitely book again...

Landfall is spectacular!! It had everything we needed and more and the amenities were fantastic. The house had so much room and is bigger than the pictures can encompass. The book of information that was there for us was spot on from spots to snorkel to navigating the shallow waters to the best places to eat. Just amazing! We will be back at Landfall!!!

We just returned from an 11 day stay at Landfall and loved every minute! The house is big and has plenty of room to spread out. From the description it was hard to get a feel for what the layout was, so I'll write a brief description. Once inside the front door, there is a king bedroom to the right and a bedroom with two twins to the left. These bedrooms share a large bathroom that is located to the right next to the king bedroom; the laundry is located in this bathroom. After the bedrooms it opens to a large living room with a smaller dining table. The kitchen is off to the right. Through a set of double doors you will find the back half of the house. The desk/work area is to the left and a larger dining table and living room area are to the right. Straight ahead are steps leading down to the master bedroom and private bathroom. The house was well equipped with basic supplies. There were even an assortment of spices with which to cook and dish washer detergent. The kayaks were a hit and much used. A nice addition would be a two person kayak-it was too rough to use the paddleboards much, and so there were only two single kayaks for 4 adults. We did the lazy river, which was fun, but not as 'lazy' as you might think. It took a good deal of paddling to stay on course. We tried to find the place to put in described in the house guidebook, (The Cut) but found the roadway to be overgrown. Besides, you have to drive up a private roadway to get to The Cut, which made us uneasy. Best solution was to put in at the boat ramp just South of the bridge connecting to Little Exuma. We paddled upstream to the The Cut Beach and that was the highlight o f the trip-well worth it. It was a super windy day and it was still manageable. We had a few maintenance problems while there, and both were handled same day, which was much appreciated. Contact with Desereen, the house manager, was a problem at first. Once we arrived in Exuma, she was not getting my messages sent from an Android phone. Fortunately, we let her know when we were arriving before we left the States and the house was unlocked upon our arrival, which was a relief because we had not heard back due to the texting issue. We discovered the solution was to message her on What's App, and she would promptly respond. All in all, it was a lovely experience. Being so close to Moriah Harbor was a treat; take full advantage of it and paddle over at low tide as many times as you can. We would stay again.

We were a party of four adults (two couples) and the space was more than ample for together time (games, movies, cocktails) or to spread out and relax. House was better than pictured - cute decor and comfy furnishings. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals in which is perfect as the house is a bit of a drive from restaurants (Blu is nearby and was great). The kayaks and SUPs were great - let host know the size of life vests you’ll need. Dock was perfect for tying up a boat we rented for a few days. Communication with host was easy. We never had any power issues and AC worked fine. Internet/WiFi was the only thing that was sketchy - possibly a new router or mesh system could rectify that. We would stay again.

Experience was exceptional. One note: rental car is advised since Hartswell/Moriah Harbour is fairly remote. We’ll definitely e back to Landfall!

We had a great stay. Sarah provided great communication from the beginning and all of the information was very helpful. The water was very rough during our stay so it made for a very hard paddle ride across the way. But once you were there it was very beautiful. I would recommend having extra paddles. There were 6 of us so we had to double up on the single kayaks. I highly recommend provisioning for the house. By the time we got our rental car Exuma Market was closed and the small grocery store that was opened didn't have much meat to choose from and restaurants were closed. Plan to drive a lot while you are there. Nothing is really close. We had never been to Exuma before so didn't really know where anything was before arriving. Also, we own a boat but when we rented the boat here we only had it for a short period and decided to take it back. The waters can be sure shallow and our phones were getting great service so we returned it. I could tell it was going to be a stressful day. We had a private guide for a day and that was great! Bring plenty of cash. Several restaurants didn't accept credit cards and for a family of 6 lunches ran around $275. Back to the house...we saw turtles right at the dock. Bring your shampoo and soap. Plenty of towels are provided. The balcony is awesome with plenty of wind so its enjoyable to sit outside. Overall an amazing trip!

Everyone really enjoyed our stay at Landfall. The house was great and had everything we needed. Desreen always answers if you have a question or need something. Couldn’t ask for a better location being close to Moriah Cay and The Cut. We would gladly stay there again

Very well appointed, spacious, and clean. The entire family loved it. The house was one of the best things about the trip. Beautiful day traveling but always such a treat to walk in the door. Felt like home and amazing amenities (washer dryer, full kitchen, gas grill, water toys, generator that kicks on immediately w any power outage and so much more). Very well done and we would certainly stay again.

This is an amazing property, the kitchen is well stocked, the rooms and home are spacious and inviting. The power went out while we were there and we didn't hardly notice other than a small blip and the generator kicked right on. The ACs worked great, the house was nice and cool! Desereen was very attentive and if we needed something she was available or responded quickly. The dock is an absolute bonus for us as we keep a boat in Exuma Landfall is definitely a repeat home for us if available!

We had a perfect vacation at Landfall and highly recommend this property to anyone! The views are stunning and the accommodations were comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Sarah the host is easy to communicate with and all of my questions were answered promptly. The kitchen is well appointed and the grocery store on the island had lots of selection for cooking and eating dinner in. Hartswell is a great location and it’s easy to explore the island from there. You’ll need to rent a car and it’s also fun to rent a boat! Can’t wait to come back to Landfall again!

Landfall is a fabulous property located on stunning Moriah Harbour, a very special location on Grand Exuma. The house itself has ample room to spread out with two full living rooms and outdoor space. This is a home, not just a vacation rental and it is clear a lot of care has gone into the furnishings and decoration. There were ample beach towels and household supplies along with a well- equipped kitchen. This location is fabulous for exploring the local area by boat and the maps carefully prepared by Sara and Tom made navigating these shallow waters so much easier. This location allows for easy driving access to Georgetown and Little Exuma with so much to explore. All the colours of blue are represented here so if you enjoy the colours of the Caribbean, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for two wonderful weeks we will not forget!

Our family stayed at Landfall and we had an incredible time! Landfall was a wonderful property with ample space and everything that we needed. The communication and assistance was fantastic (Desereen is the best!) and of course, the location is peaceful with gorgeous views. Tip: We rented a boat from Spence Burrows and it opens up some incredible locations to visit. Thanks for providing this great home allowing for some fantastic family memories.

We had such a great time decompressing at Landfall. Great location and beautiful home with everything we needed. Lots of things to do and see on the water but one of our favourite things to do was stargaze on the dock at the end of our day. It was magical. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful 8 days! Stunning views! Great dock- perfect if you plan on renting a boat- and perfect for star gazing. House was wonderful and well stocked. Loved having a washer/dryer. Enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards! Great communication. Thanks to the house manager for picking up a few groceries since we arrived in the evening and advising us on store hours.

What can I say about this property! It was a home for sure! We checked in for our last week in Exuma and everything was perfect. Desereen was an AMAZING host, quick to answer any questions and give us any information we needed. The house was beautiful and inviting. The decor was great with the sail boat theme that summed up the life of the owners. Their story was fabulous! We were able to relax and take in the beauty of the island and the property. The kitchen had every utensil, pot, or small appliance we needed. The bed downstairs was amazing to wake up in, the sunlight coming right into the windows. Having cable was a plus. The bathrooms were great and it was nice to have full washer and dryer for us to use. The living area was great for relaxing at night. The dock is very well built and I must say, when docking our boat it was very helpful to have dock line and a ladder. We also weren't attached by nosee-ums! Over all an excellent stay. Would highly recommend! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We had a fantastic stay at Landfall and would highly recommend to anyone! The home is very clean and comfortable, spacious and well appointed. The owners were very responsive and provided a lot of good information about the area. Desereen, the property manager, was helpful and made sure we knew she was available if we needed her for anything (which we didn't as everything worked perfectly, no complaints whatsoever). We spent most of our time outdoors, using the kayaks and paddleboards to explore the beauty of Moriah Harbour. We also rented a 15ft Boston Whaler from Drex(would definitely recommend) to explore a little further from home. We have stayed at different locations on Exuma and hands down Hartswell/Moriah Harbour/Rolle Town area is our favorite. For us, no other locations compare...the beaches, sandbars, serenity and neon blue waters just offshore make this area otherworldly. We look forward to returning soon!
