If I could give a 10 star rating I would, I just can’t express how absolutely amazing our stay was. We booked 2 years ago, but due to our concerns being postponed we had to change our dates. This was so easy with the hosts. The communication with them was outstanding from the very start. The house is well appointed with everything you need, and more. I’ve never stayed anywhere with hosts that were just so accommodating! They left us with everything we needed, they had stocked the fridge with some goodies and wine for us to enjoy. Their hospitality was just so amazing, they made us feel like we were extended family. The house is right near everything you need, a pub, shopping centre and King St is a short walk as well. I will definitely be staying here whenever I am in Sydney. You would be crazy not to stay here next time you are in Sydney!

We enjoyed our stay here a lot. The townhouse is located really close to some great spots in the inner west, and it was quite convenient to walk out to the cafes and pubs next door without having to drive or catch buses. The house itself is lovely and spacious. We stayed here with our cat and dog, and the hosts were very accommodating and helpful. Communication throughout was great and a pleasure. Will recommend.

Ten of our family stayed for our Son’s wedding in Sydney, it was perfect, a wonderful location, enough room for all of us and a beautiful outdoor area. We had booked it for last year for another wedding but had to cancel due to covid, Phou was so helpful transferring to new dates in 2021, and there were many emails exchanged because of covid related issues. We would definitely stay again.

Everything went very smoothly. Check in was a breeze and the hosts were very accomodating. Place was as described and suited our group of 6 perfectly.

Our extended family were very comfortable staying at this property. Beds aplenty & a well appointed kitchen. Hosts were fabulous to deal with & went to great lengths to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Location is perfect for a city visit & handy to a variety of public transport options. Highly recommended.

This house ticks all the boxes we needed for our family stay. This is a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom property and it housed my large family just perfectly when we were in town for a family wedding. The hosts were beyond generous in leaving us provisions to self-cater. (The bacon and egg cook-up was required to allow us to function again!!) We could walk to Enmore Park which was perfect for the kids in the family to play at. The house was lovely and clean and the courtyard BBQ a welcome space on a hot day. I cannot fault this place, we loved it!

We loved our stay here for a week in the city. The location couldn’t be better (easy access to everything), the neighborhood was lovely, and the owners were incredibly accommodating and helpful. We’d definitely stay here again!

Old-world charm comes to life in this well-furnished and well-equipped house! The host, Luke was amazing! Going thru all the necessary details about the house and the neighbourhood which made us feel safe and welcomed. The location is so convenient, near to shopping centre, restaurants streets (King St & Enmore Rd), train station, airport, etc. A walk in the neighbourhood is a must to experience the old-world charm of Sydney’s yesteryears.

From booking in to checking out we had a great experience. We arrived early and met Phou and Luke mid clean, they let us leave our bags and we had a yarn for a bit, then headed off to explore the neighbourhood, our group of 6, including 4 18/19 year olds. We arrived bang on 2pm and were met by Luke who showed us around and had a good talk and laugh, we also found he had stacked fridge with fresh fruit and veges🥑🥕, juice, bread🍞 and even a bottle of Red🍷 The rest of the week just flowed, very central to city and buses, we quickly worked out the short cuts and the metro shopping centre is so close, cafe 3 doors down and good pub across from there. Plenty of eateries along King Street but we took advantage of the kitchen and cooked some nice meals and it was just like home. The 2 bathrooms/showers worked well for us and plenty of hot water and even a bathtub for a soak. TV in each room and even Google chrome cast to watch Netflix or stream your sports from your devices and great 5g WiFi meant we all could watch and post all day long. Beds were comfy and the rooms upstairs are very airy and fresh. The road is busy and planes do fly over but that's just plain nitpicking if that's your biggest problem. The property was even better than we had anticipated. Conveniently located, high-end finishes, well stocked fridge, sunny courtyard for breakfast and a great pub just down the street. Couldn't ask for more. Would really like to return one day.

Phou was the most gracious host and has thought of everything you could possibly need for a home away from home! Beautiful old style house, clean, comfy beds and close to everything you could need with free on street parking a plus too. Would highly recommend for anyone wishing to explore Newtown, the city or walk to the Enmore Theatre!

Good location, Marrickville shops less than 5 mins away. Hosts were really helpful and accommodating. The house is a little run down and needs to be updated. Furniture is old, some broken. The house was also not very clean, some pots and pans were all rusty inside. The house really needs to be decluttered. It is really only suitable for max 8 people. The second toilet/shower is in a laundry and very old . The house could be great but it needs alot of work.

We were met personally and shown around. This was very comfortable with everything you need. Close to great pub with a beer garden so we could eat out with our dog. I would recommend without hesitation.

We found the owners extremely welcoming. The house was lovely and clean, airy and spacious. There were eight of us and we had plenty of room. We had a lovely Aussie breakfast in the spacious garden courtesy of a well stocked fridge full of complimentary goodies. Idea location for anyone wanting to explore Sydney and its unique outer suburbs.

Luke and Phou’s property was absolutely ideal for our family of 6 . Lovely large period property with large rooms and high ceilings. Downstairs bedroom and shower/ toilet perfect for my elderly parents. Location was great for 2 train stations and a bus stop just a minutes walk away with regular buses to city and local shopping centre. Marrickville shopping centre is literally 3 minutes walk away with an Aldi, Woolworths , K Mart plus lots of smaller outlets and numerous eateries. Luke and Phou were really helpful and couldn’t do enough to help us. We had a fantastic stay. Thank you!

We have a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this house!! The host were amazing and so helpful. The location was perfect and in great walking distance to everything including shops, restaurants, trains etc. The beds were fabulous and super comfy. The house is well suited to everyone including families and I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area.

We had the best time. The house had everything we wanted. The location couldn't have been better, near shops, king street & trains. Phou did everything he could to make us comfortable, he wascduchva fantastic host! We will most definitely be back to this house! LOVED IT.

The house is a beautiful period home in a great location. Easy access to city, shops, transport and a wonderful pub 100m away. The hosts have thought of every personal touch to make your stay very relaxing. Definitely one of the best holidays I have had in a long time. Thank you.

We spent a week here over Christmas. Found the place spacious and well located. Great courtyard out the back. Worked well for our family catch up. Owners were very helpful and obliging. Would stay there again.

Plenty of room for us although some single beds would have suited us better. Very close to airport which was noisy and on a very busy road which was also noisy. Wasn't aware of these points before booking, and would probably have avoided if known. Close to a shopping mall which was useful, and a short distance to a hotel which had a reasonable restaurant. Newtown Train station was a longer walk than expected and uphill fo most of the way, St Peter's was slightly closer, but beware, if you have a pushchair or physically incapable person there is no lift! We did have some issues with some tree surgeons next door. The owners of our property did respond and apologised. It was a good job the weather was not good, because we couldn't really use the back yard, because they left it in quite a mess. Only had one key which was a bit of a problem, because we all had to make sure we kept in touch to get back together. If noise is not a problem and you are relatively young and fit this property is OK, but otherwise consider the above. Very good communication and the owners met us at the property to show us round.

Great location. Very close to the city & easy access to public transport. Very Clean & well kept house.Close to the shops. Made our trip a very memorable one.
