Very much enjoyed the privacy. Everything was kept very well. Finding the property was very difficult as the location did not match the VRBO map.

Exceptional property, wonderful in every respect.... Clean, private and very well maintained. We only saw a few people during our 2 week stay at the property. We didn't have a car for transportation, but Colyn was very helpful in taking us wherever we need to go. Banana Bay is a short distance away and provides some good food if you want a change from cooking your own at the house. We didn't want to leave and will certainly make an attempt to return sometime soon.

Our family stayed here for a week over Christmas. Santa could not have done any better! The home/guest house is right on the beach with just a few steps to the ocean! It was very comfortable for our family of 4 (my son used the provided air mattress) and clean! We did have a few minor “bumps” but the owner and Colyn were very quick to respond and remedy the situation. Colyn was amazing at finding us some of the best snapper which we cooked on the outdoor grill. My son and I used the provided kayak to paddle to Banana Bay a short distance away and we also enjoyed exploring the other way down the beach to the inlet! We didn’t use the snorkelling equipment as the water was a bit rough but thoroughly enjoyed the pool and beach! Lucy was wonderful to communicate with and we would highly recommend this piece of paradise to anyone!!

We enjoyed staying at Due South. The house you stay in is the taller of the two structures in the picture. It sits behind the Owner's house, but offset a little so it has a view of the beach from the upper deck and lower bedroom. The pool is closest to the beach, between the Owner's house and the ocean. You walk around the side of the main house to get to the pool in front of the main house. We were very comfortable in the house with our family of four. There are two beds and our son slept on an air mattress (there are two in the upper bedroom closet and an included electric air pump) and was very comfortable. The house is very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The weather was uncooperative the week we were there - quite windy most of the time - so we were unable to do some of the things we were hoping to do - diving, snorkeling, beach camp fire - and we didn't use the pool much either due to the wind and cooler weather. But we made the most of it and enjoyed our stay. We were able to do a little kayaking and biking (there is one double kayak and two bikes at the property). Banana Bay restaurant was great - close by, good drinks and food. We kayaked there, walked there, rode bikes there, and drove there - all very fun. Lots of good walking on the beach. Very few people around - the beach is public so there were occasionally people walking by, but not many. The internet and satellite tv service for evening watching were not always reliable. Colyn, the Property Manager is very friendly and helpful. And we were able to meet John and Lucy, the owners - both very friendly and welcoming. Thanks for sharing your property with us!

We spent 2 weeks here over Christmas 2017. We had the most relaxing time, the beach was quiet and beautiful. It was home away from home, from being able to bbq, cook our dinners and enjoy nice bonfires in the evenings. The house was clean and very comfortable. Colin the care taker of the home was very friendly and helpful. We arrived at the house late and Colin waited and was there to greet us and let us in to the house. The top balcony was great for star gazing in the evenings and we even saw a comet! The kitchen was well equipped with all the cooking utensils we possibly needed. The bathrooms were nice and spacious as were the bedrooms. The swimming pool was clean and there is a nice balcony area to sit at in front of the pool and just gaze out over the ocean. The fire wood ready for the fire pit, and my husband literally said at least 4 to 6 times a day WOW when looking at the view. We would stay here again anytime Thanks Lucy for sharing your home!!

My family and I had a great time visiting Grand Bahama. Your home is beautiful. The guest house is spacious and clean. I love the layout and the view is spectacular. We spent a lot of time sitting in the back by the pool and walking the beach. The beach is beautiful! You truly have a little piece of paradise. My husband is retired from construction. He worked in concrete construction for commercial and residential. We could see all the thought and detail that went into constructing your home. Beautiful job!

Our family of 5 enjoyed a perfect week at this house. It's exceptionally private (no neighbors!) but feels safe and secure. The house is next to a public beach access so you will see people coming to walk their dogs (no one seems to stay long). Even thought it's 2 bedrooms, our 3 kids were comfortable in one room on airbeds that are provided. It was very enjoyable to walk to Banana Bay for lunch and then back to the house for more relaxation. Lucy was an easy, gracious host even allowing us to stay a day longer when our flight was canceled!

Our trip was fantastic! The photos don't do this place justice. The calm was the perfect holiday getaway to escape the stress of everyday life. Beautiful sunrise walks on the beach, a morning dip in the pool, lazy days on the beach or at Lucayan National Park, scenic sunset kayak rides, and nighttime fires... we had an amazing week! The house was clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. We had an incredible week of family bonding time, and we highly appreciated Colyn's hospitality. If you're looking for a quiet, beautiful place to spend a few days, this is the place to be!
