Slightly further out of Frigiliana than we had expected. We soon got used to it and it is definitely not a negative.

Absolutely fabulous villa in the mountains above Frigiliana.The house is fully equipped and decorated with much love and care and incredible attention to the smallest details.The place is absolutely quiet.no other houses nearby,only pictoresque green hills and mountains around.The hosts are very friendly and helpful.

In our specific case (my wife almost died on a mountain road several years ago) the road to the house was rather complicated,steep and narrow.

Everything about this place is fantastic. There's everything anyone could want. The location and views are stunning. The hosts Puri and Damien were helpful and friendly. We had a perfect holiday.

A truly magical place, by far the best place we've stayed in Andalucia over the years. Everything was perfect: The location on the slopes of a lush valley cannot be surpassed with its magnificent views of the valley and the mountains. The house is built in between the trees of an old olive grove, with great care taken to preserve all the original vegetation: besides olive trees, also fig, carob, and pine. In addition the garden holds a plethora of colourful flowers. From the lovely pool you are able to enjoy the views of the mountains while cooling off in the summer heat. Inside, the house has all the amenities, you would wish for. The fanned bedroom is conveniently located on the lower floor, which made for a good sleep even in the heated days of July. Everything was spotlessly clean. The kitchen seemed almost perfectly new. Wifi was great, but be aware that the phone signal in the area is very poor (we didn't have any signal at all during our stay). Everything in the garden and the house is carefully tended to, obviously with great love. And it makes the "Colores en el viento" the perfect getaway. We spent most of our ten days here just relaxing by the pool, taking in the incredible views, the sounds of crickets, cicadas, birds, the croaking frogs in the garden pond, and the occasional boasting donkey in the distance. At dusk we enjoyed watching the bats clean the lighted pool of insects. Puri and Damian are exceptional hosts. We were welcomed with fresh eggs from the hen house, fresh figs, vegetables, and herbs from the orchard, cava, snacks, and fresh flowers. During our stay they came by a couple of times to clean the pool, to tend to the area, and just to make sure everything was well for us. Thank you for a lovely vacation. We would love to return!

A perfect retreat. Very comfortable with everything you need. We loved the pool and the setting was amazing! A lovely welcome with fresh eggs, fruit and organic wine. We would love to return one day!

What a hidden gem. One of those places you want to keep to yourself. 5km/15 minutes from Frigiliana through the mountains. The setting of the house, garden and swimming pool is absolutely beautiful in a green valley. Just being there and enjoying the view, listen to birds, Reading a book. What else do you need? Although remote ( a car is necessary) the house is completely comfortable and with lot of love decorated. The kitchen is complete with everything you can imagine ( stove, microwave, dishwasser, washing machine, different coffeemakers, toaster etc . Herbs, oil, vinegar, sugar, coffee etc available. There is a fire place and heaters for when its cold. WIFi perfect. The house was spotless. Plenty towels and bathrobe available. 2 bathrooms when you are with 4. The very friendly Spanish owners picked us up in Frigiliana ( the accomodation is not easy to find) and welcomed us with flowers, wine, oranges from the garden and fresh eggs from their chickens. We can’t wait to come back! It’s a nice 2,7 km walk to el acebuchal were you can have a wonderful lunch (11:00-16:00) at bar el acebuchal
