Simple but Clean and spacious Bungalows. 3 minutes walk to the beach. Lovely owners and staff. Great food.

The bungalows are simple but spacious and provide everything necessary to feel at home for a few days - or weeks. I especially liked the outdoor shower and the comfy hammocks on the veranda, which goes out into a lovely cashew garden. At night there's a cool breeze so you don't even need the fan. The food in the lucky café is some of the best on the entire island (try the tom ka soup!) and the espresso is a true joy for everyone sick of instant coffee. If you would prefer to dine with a seaview - some very good beach restaurants are only a few minutes walk away. But what makes the lucky resort truly stand out are the people that run the place! Arm, his wife and their employees are perfect hosts: very helpful, fun and just some of the nicest people I've ever met. I will really miss the "lucky family". Thanks for the great week!

This is not necessarily negative, but you should be aware that you live very close to nature and might even be visited by bats, geckos or a little mouse in your bungalow. I also had some trouble adjusting to all the unfamiliar sounds at night (birds, dogs, cashew fruit falling on the roof...). But I felt very well protected under the big mosquito net and learned to happily fall asleep to the sound of wildlife and the nearby sea.

The place is located really close to Ao Yai beach (the best beach in my opinion). We stayed there with my boyfriend for 3 nights and really loved it. The place is owned by lovely thai people! The little houses are clean and neat and give you the chance to enjoy the nature and listen to the birds and crickets at night. The hammocks are just the cherry on the cake! The place is quiet at night (it could get loud at some places). The place has a restaurant with delicious food! The lady who owns the place is absolutely lovely and helpful - she arranged us a motorbike and taxis in no time, we even asked to have an arrangement for breakfast from the evening before and she made sure we have it! Absolutely perfect service, would definitely stay there again if back!

Lucky Ressort is a family owned business. The premises consists of 8 bungalows and a restaurant where supertasty food is served. The family is absolutely wonderful, very friendly and attentive. The wooden bungalows are simple but constructed with attention to detail for all basic human needs. The ressort is located a 5 minutes walk from the beach, away from potential noise, which makes it very quiet at night. If you're looking for a place to wind down and to "arrive" in Thailand, to chill in your hammoc on your private veranda, then Lucky ressort is the perfect place to do just that.
