It was a girls getaway and the house was perfect for that! We have some very picky women in our group and they actually only had nice things to say after our stay. I was shocked. The amenities were top notch and the location was just perfect. The house was beautiful and so clean. I would definitely stay here again as it was close to every thing.

"Firefly" was absolutely perfect for our stay on Isle of Palm for the wedding of our daughter. It provided a most memorable stay for us. We continued to hear the same comment from the hairdresser, wedding planner, to the photographer...."This house if unbelievable and is so perfect for wedding day prep!"

This property on isle of palms was just what we needed for my family of 5 and my in laws. The location was excellent and the amenities for my family were perfect. It’s just like the photos and the hosts were easy to work with. Easy access to the beach (especially with the golf cart), the pool was awesome, and we loved the proximity to Charleston. We even said next time we would just fly because the house was so well equipped we didn’t need everything we brought! After this trip I hope to make isle of palms a place my family vacations for years to come!

My extended family of 10 stays for a week in Isle of Palms each summer. This was our first time renting Firefly and we were very pleased with the property. It is a 10 minute walk or a quick golf cart ride to the beach. The home is decorated beautifully and well stocked with everything you need for an easy and enjoyable stay. The property manager was super responsive with any questions or issues we had -- which were minor. Located in a nice quiet neighborhood with beautiful homes and landscaping. Would definitely rent Firefly again!

The owners of this house are fantastic and so easy to work with! We had some issues with the A/C and they were on top of it right away. The house and pool are great and we loved having the golf cart to take to the beach. It is also well stocked with everything you need - no need to lug your chairs/beach cart from home. Highly recommend this rental!

This was a great location, very convenient to the beach and easy access on and off the island. We did have an issue with the air conditioning that was addressed promptly. As hot as it was the week we were there it did get warm in the house when we were cooking in the evenings but there’s not much that could be done to prevent that.

We just returned from a week in Isle of Palms with our three children and loved staying at Firefly. This was a special beach house from the beautiful home tastefully decorated, wonderful pool, lovely neighborhood, and close proximity to the beach. My boys enjoyed the pool each day and loved riding bikes through the neighborhood and stopping at the nearby park. The streets are nicely shaded and are also a great place for long runs. We enjoyed using the golf cart provided to make travelling the few blocks to the beach with our gear easier. The homeowners were great at communicating about the house before our arrival and were quick to answer our questions as new islanders. The pictures prosted do not truley capture this gem of a beach house with perfect location!

This was the best of many homes we have stayed at on the Isle of Palms. The location, easy beach access and home itself were all top shelf. My interactions with the owners were all very good and the home was well stocked for a family that likes to cook on vacation.

We have been coming to IOP for a number of years. We have teenagers and bring the Grandmothers with us. This house was absolutely perfect for our group. It had all the amenities you need from beach towels, beach chairs, wagons, kitchen accessories, spices, glasses, etc. It had everything! It was incredibly clean and the owners were extremely communicative and thoughtful. Any questions were answered immediately. We’ve never returned to the same house twice but that’s about to change! The golf cart and fire pit were an added bonus! It was a quick ride/walk to the beach. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to experience this beautiful home.

The home and location is absolutely beautiful and perfect!! The home has everything you can possibly need for a wonderful vacation and the owners have spared nothing to make that happen!! It's close to Charleston,Sullivans Is.and Mt.Pleasant...all the places we love!! Judy and Family

The pictures, description and reviews of this rental may seem too good to be true…but the reality is it is even BETTER! Our family has rented homes around the world and this surpassed some of the best places we have rented previously. It is a beautiful home with everything you need at your fingertips (so many dishes, glasses, pots/pans, coffee pot/kueriq etc) you can settle right in to your home away from home! The layout of the house and its location to the beach and activities could not have been more perfect for our family of 7 ranging from ages 21-83! The golf cart and beach wagons made the short distance to the beach even more of a breeze. The “kids” enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings, and we all enjoyed the pool - esp on a day too windy for the beach. Prudence and Vincent were literally the best hosts! So responsive and welcoming. The beds and linens were so comfortable. The large dining room table inside and picnic table outside made for the best family meals together. Truly can’t say enough things about our week here other than it went too fast! We kept saying we wished we lived right here in this exact home! Thank you for the break away from reality and cherished time with family in paradise. We will be back!

This home, and the hosts were wonderful. The house is so comfortable, very very well appointed and has absolutely everything you need for a group of any size. The spaces in the home are beautiful, as well as the appliances, fixtures, and finishes. The outdoor surroundings are beautiful and feel like you are tucked away, but you’re only two blocks from the beach. Everything in the house was in tiptop shape. We all had a great time and would love to stay at this property again.

There is not one thing that we needed. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. The beds and all the furniture were comfortable. Plenty of seating in the living room area, great table for game playing and the deck and pool are spectacular! We loved every minute of our stay!

Our family loved our stay. The golf cart is a huge plus for ease and convenience. Having a pool was loved by all, particularly the 6 year old. Bedrooms have very comfy sheets. Beach was awesome!

One of the select number of VRBO's you'll find that truly goes above and beyond to make your stay as memorable as possible! The property itself is stunning ranch-style with huge pool deck, wonderful décor, and beautiful landscaping (that big oak out front is something else). We LOVED the golf cart and used it daily to ferry folks to and from the 42nd street beach access (further away from the house, but the shortest walking distance from parking lot to beach). The kitchen is fully stocked and we never lacked for a single tool or pot, nor did we lack any beach gear (they have it all). To top it off, we thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit for making S'mores with the kids. An 11/10 booking and we can't wait to return!

"Firefly" is the perfect home to celebrate a special occasion or just feel like you are on a tropical island far away from home. There wasn't anything we needed that wasn't already there for us. The attention to details for the guest experience was exceptional. I would recommend this property to anyone.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything needed and more in kitchen was provided, including spices. Beach chairs and wagons were a huge help. Beach was a bit far of a walk with small children so the golf cart was a huge benefit and wouldn’t have been the same experience without it. The pool is all one depth and some of our elementary school aged kids were too short so keep that in mind for floatation devices.

We could not have loved our stay in this home anymore! It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Hoping to return again in the future!

The furnishings and decor are first-class and special touches are everywhere. They provided many amenities and "extras" that are often missing in a rental property.
