Prachtig resorthotel met een nog mooier uitzicht! Op loopafstand van het stadje (10min) via een pittoresk wandelpad langs zee. Het zwembad is mooi aangelegd en er zijn voldoende ligbedjes.

Could have been clearer about picking up cases to and from the ferry, as an included service. We were only aware of this on return and noticed other guests doing the same.

The sofa bed in our family suite was badly positioned as was permanently set up as a bed for our eldest and could not walk around it to get to the other bedroom because of other furniture. it was also a very uncomfortable sofa bed and we had to request an extra mattress. the pool bar was great but the staff were very slow and sometimes would disappear after taking our order and not come back. Despite the above criticisms, it is a good hotel in a great location and for the most part the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Tiny rooms, no private beach or sun beds allocated to hotel at nearby beach, had to return towels to the pool area and couldn’t leave in your room, no vanity kit in the rooms.

Close to main restaurants and port. You can leave your luggage with staff at the port, so you don’t need to carry to the hotel. Facilities are great, the pool, staff, room. No fault whatsoever.

Great pool, situated near a lovely little beach. Easy walk into Hvar old town and the ferry. Loved that the hotel meets the ferries and collects luggage.

It is a maze inside with very little signs. We struggled to find our room and we’re very far from reception. Hotel staff are lovely but if you need something fixed/delivered it takes multiple calls before anyone comes. Not ideal especially when the aircon is broken.

Breakfast was fabulous.The walk along the coast into Hvar was lovely, access to the beach easy.All in all a great holiday.

Incredible resort stay with a wonderful pool and great beach access! Amfora a upgraded us to a two bedroom suite with balconies and it could not have been nicer of them! We also love how they arrange to take your bags to and from the ferry port as the short walk to the hotel from the ferry port is steep.

The hotel was just perfect, couldn't fault it, the staff were helpful, considerate. The morning breakfast was out of this world.

There was nothing not too like.

Loved my stay at Amfora Hvar Grand Beach Resort. It was very quiet, as the season was just starting, but still had a pleasant atmosphere. Room was spotless, location perfect for the old town and staff were all lovely. I would stay again!

Great views and location however the property is dated and the photos do not replicate the situation at the property. they would benefit for a little capital expenditure.

First night the air conditioning system dripped on my friend and there was a strange smell and stain by my bed so we mentioned it to staff with no expectations and got immediately moved to a penthouse which was probably one of the most beautiful rooms I've ever stayed in! The staff went above and beyond for us, very kind and helpful.

The first room, was quite tight for three beds and there was a vomit stain and unpleasant smell by my side of the bed. Also the air conditioning system dripped on my friend through the night, so impressed at the customer service following our complaints, but still surprised they'd let paying customers in a room like that in such a high end hotel. Aside from that, all was fab!
