Świetna lokalizacja do zwiedzania Rygi, w samym centrum starówki. Duży wybór na śniadaniu. Kawa z ekspresu, soki, warzywa, wszystkiego pod dostatkiem nawet przed końcem godzin wydawania śnaidania. Pokoje skromnie wyposażone, ale zupełnie wystarczy na 1-2 noce. Hałasy z innych lokali owszem były tak jak ostrzegano w innych opiniach. Ale cichły ok 23. Są też zatyczki w pokoju. W hotelu na poziomie recepcji na ścianach wyeksponowane są zabytkowe elementy architektoniczne. Dla 4-osobowej rodziny mieliśmy pokój rodzinny składający się z dwóch sypialni, przedsionka i łazienki w przedsionku. Całkiem komfortowo.

Pobliskie parkingi na samochód - płatne 25 euro za dobę. Na śniadaniu nie ma tradycyjnej wyglądającej jajecznicy tylko coś jak galaretka jajeczna z proszku.

A localização é excelente porque permite estarmos literalmente no centro histórico da cidade. O pequeno almoço é igualmente excelente, muito variado e de qualidade.

Como o hotel é no centro histórico, numa rua com bares e cafés, há algum ruído durante as primeiras horas da noite, mas perfeitamente tolerável.

The hotel is located in the Old Town which was great for walking around & visiting all the attractions. A good selection at breakfast. And I liked the view over the city from my attic window.

In the bathroom & bedroom because of the attic beams I couldn’t stand up near the window or to use the toilet. The room would be unsuitable if you were very tall. I’m 165 cms. The staff were helpful but a smile would be good.

El recepcionista me pidió la tarjeta de débito y tomó los datos del código de seguridad. Lo hizo igual con otras personas. No entiendo por qué hacen eso cuando es información personal que no debe compartirse. No me sentí cómoda con eso.

The hotel is in an excellent part of Riga old town, close to many bars, restaurants and sights, and also not a very long walk from the bus or railway station. Breakfasts are plentiful and varied. The price was keen for quite a nice hotel.

There was nothing I didn’t like about the hotel.

Розташування у самому серці Риги. В номері чисто,тепло, привітний персонал, смачний сніданок, вигляд з вікон чарівний. Є тапці. Сам номер великий, просторий. Недалеко від автовокзалу, можна пішки дістатися. Навкруги багато кафе, ресторанів, магазин поруч.

Немає косметичних засобів ні шампуня,ні кондиціонеру для волосся. Лише рідке мило

На удивление, мне понравилось все. Почему на удивление? Потому что я понимала, что за такие деньги могло быть что угодно))) Опыт в отелях у меня есть. Проснулась от колокольного звона церкви Святого Петра и это незабываемо. Завтрак был отличным, но для меня самое важное утром - это очень хороший кофе, а кофе был волшебным.

Если совсем придраться, то конечно для моего роста (180 см) потолки с балками на самом последнем 6 этаже доставляли стресса, я боялась удариться головой)))

Location was great in the old town, food-breakfast was great with everything that you need to start your day, eggs, jam, cheese, ham, cornflakes, donuts etc etc. It was very clean and comfortable and I enjoyed my stay, except for the check in that I have explained below.

One of the recepsionist, I don’t remember the name, had like a Russian accent I think, asked for my card details eventhough, I paid in cash. This according to him, it was the hotel policy that I agree to sign, according to the policy I would have to give 30€ per person, as a deposit and I asked about this but he said that It’s not secure that I would have got my money back because we have to wait for the housekeeper to start her shift and to check the room and he couldn’t confirm when. So he didn’t leave me any choice but to give him my card details. This is the first time that I had to give my card details to any hotel receptionist. And I have been in a lot of hotels while visiting 36 countries around europe. Probably he had to explain better or the hotel should find another solution. For example, to send the recepsionist to check the room quickly and to confirm if everything is ok. But I have to admit that he let us check in like 18 minutes early in our room. Instead, the girl working on the night shift was phenomenal. She gave us some great suggestions, gave us some tip to go around the city and what are the best museums or places to visit.

Veldig fin beliggenhet i en rolig gate i gamlebyen. Veldig god størrelse på rommene, og rommene var rene. Akseptabel temperatur inne til tross for at det var kaldt ute. Et pluss at vi fikk imøtekommet tidlig insjekking.

Ikke det muntreste personalet, med få smil og høflighetsfraser i løpet av besøket. For tynne dyner og puter, som reduserer søvnkvaliteten. Ingen minibar eller kjøleskap trekker også ned. Kunne gjerne fått på plass noen dørmatter på rommene nå i snøsesongen, så slipper man våte gulv fra snødekte sko.

Helppo kulkea kaikkialle. Myös pieni Rimi ruokakauppa ihan lähellä, samoin erityyppisiä ruokaravintoloita. Myös matkamuistomyymälöitä. Vastaanoton henkilökunta oli ystävällinen. Plussaa laukkujen säilytys ennen sisäänkirjautumista varhain saapuville, uloskirjautumisen jälkeen myöhään lähtijöille.

Huoneet nuhruisia, siisteydessä parantamisen varaa. Kokolattiamatossa tahroja. Sänky erittäin kova, ei sijauspatjaa. Tyyny littana, muhkurainen. Tunkkainen, huono huoneilma, tuuletusikkuna niin ylhäällä, että joutuu nousemaan ikkunalaudalle seisomaan, jotta sen ehkä saa auki. Emme uskaltaneet. Kylpyhuone kuuma, kostea, jonkunlainen lämpöpuhallin meluisa, joka menee päälle aina kun valon sinne pistää päälle. Suihkussa vain kiinteä, korkealla oleva vesipää, ei käsisuihkua. Peseytyminen hankalaa jos haluaa vain pienemmän pesun.. Lattiakaivo vetää huonosti, vesi seisoi jaloissa suihkukorokkeen sisäpuolella. Pyyhkeet kuluneita, nuhruisia. Kylpyhuoneen lattiaa ei siivota ja pestä ilmeisesti kunnolla, koska suihkun jälkeen jalkojen alle laitettu pyyhe likaantui läiskille. Pyyhittäessä lattiaa likaa oli selvästi kauttaaltaan. Epäsiisti, huono siivous näkyy selvästi. Oven alaosa lohkeillut ja repsottaa pahasti, luultavasti kosteuden vuoksi. Vähän joka paikassa oli nähtävissä ja tunnettavissa siisteyden heikkous. Huoneesta löytyvien korvatulppien tarpeelle löytyi selitys: huono äänieristys: kadulta kuuluu melua ja huoneitten seinät ovat ohuet. Naapureiden ja yläpuolella asuvien intiimit hetket ääntelyineen kuuluivat todella hyvin. Samoin käytävillä kulut ja kolinat, ovien ja puheen äänet. Korvatulpille on tarvetta! Halpa hinta selittyy näillä epäkohdilla. Majoitus sopii heille keitä nuo asiat ei vaivaa.

The room/breakfast overall service was ok, fitted the bill but nothing fancy. The location was the best thing! Good coffee machine at the breakfast too- and the beams in the top room of the hotel were lovely. The hotel let us store our bags there for free in a locked room at the back after we had checked out, whilst we walked around the town before leaving for the airport- that was really handy!

It felt a little bit low budget/not very fancy. There was a fair bit of noise from the outside street- that didn't bother me personally, but it might bother someone who is a sensitive sleeper and might be a consideration for them when booking.

It would be great to be informed about the municipality fees for the stay, together with all the other conditions during booking of the reservation. Otherwise it's sort of the cost which the guest doesn't expect to cover.

I was moved to top floor it was a bit out the way and hot. I had to have my air con on all the time. There was no blind in the bedroom.

Breakfast included. Spacious room and available when I checked in earlier. Perfect location in the city centre.

1) Gets noisy at the night, however being right in the centre is expected. They also provide ear plugs. 2) No parking again they do mention this on the website. 3) No air con in the 2 rooms we booked. 4) Right opposite a gentleman's bar if you decide to stay with a family.

Excellent reception staff, great location, clean room. Good value for the price!
