these was multiple xmas parties running. all bars and pool areas were full of the general public and. o place to sit and have a drink. the noise was unbearable and load to the point I left at 6:30pm and booked in somewhere else to sleep. Given I paid upfront nearly $900 for 2. lights for myself just to rest after working its was a disappointment. Will be seeking a refund for the second night.

The view was so disappointing for the price paid. There was insufficient parking at the property. The beds were springy/soft and was awful to sleep on. I would have expected king beds to be standard, we knew it was going to be a queen bed. For the price paid, they should consider having pod coffees in the room. I have stayed in hotels at half the price which offered more facilities and value.

Room was a little tired and humming draft that could only be resolved by opening the balcony door.

Rooms were lovely, beds soft! Breakfast was delicious and plenty of options. Enjoyed the north bar and pool area. The hotel had a really nice relaxing feel to it.

The table in the north bar was dirty with food all over it. We asked staff to clean it when they brought our drinks over, but they never returned to clean it. They were not overly busy either.

the staff at the brekkie restaurant were not able to keep up. the pancake machine broke down and it took ages to get fixed. the 2 coffee machines ran out of coffee and milk and I told one staff immediately but she said yeah thanks but didn’t act immediately and that caused a huge queue for coffee and pancakes. the cutlery was not available in buffet like in the first day so you had to request it to the staff and they’re busy so they take ages to bring it. I think the solution is to have more staff in the morning for the all-you-can-eat brekkie. Also while used plates started to pile up no one would come and pick them. They just pick them like once every hour, and for a big table with big eaters like us, well that was just too slow. American buffets are the experts on this. You guys need more staff that go to tables more often and that make sure that everything is working re coffee machines, pancake machine, etc.

Room location 507 and we had the most abhorrent family in 508 who were the noisiest unreasonable people who when asked on 2 occasions could they keep the noise down first request was 1215 am and second request was 0220 all to no avail. They just got louder as time went on and finally stopped the noise at 0540. The 2 rooms had an adjoining door Never in all our travels have we ever been subjected to a totally inconsiderate and arrogant response from them on both occasions We have to stay somewhere again in 10 days for another hospital visit and surgery I would be loathe to even possibly consider staying at the Novotel Most disgraceful time ever.

The location was the best part.

The rooms are not worth what you charge. I can't believe that parking is not included in your massive room charge ($25 a night - are you serious). We stayed during the week so I would hate to see how much a room would be on a weekend. Also there is nowhere at 12 (lunchtime!) to get a cold drink (I am talking about a soft drink!). Your so called "convenience store" was not even open. How is that possible??? Instead I had to walk across the road to the cafe to buy a drink!! I understand this sounds petty but with a broken foot that was a little hard! I am so disappointed with this place 😞

Front desk clerk was personable and cheerful - and was about to compete in her first long board competition the next day. It was lovely to have a relaxed conversation rather than be just processed like a number, not a person.
