Location

The pool has gone, but the room is still expensive so that was confusing. Nobody told us the pool had gone. The staff weren’t altogether welcoming , the room was small. We asked for a quiet room but we’re put amongst families.

There was an excellent choice of breakfast, all cooked and presented well. The room was spacious, warm and comfortable. The bed was VERY comfortable.

Clean facilities, nice and comfortable room. Gym facilities are older but work perfectly well and was a good start to the morning

Breakfast was a little bit on the colder side for my liking.

Noisy room. The hotel has a dog friendly policy. While I like dogs, I do not want my sleep disturbed from them barking throughout the night and there were dogs right next door to our room. This is not considering guest comfort in the slightest!

Police were present in reception removing a resident. We returned to the hotel around 12.30 and down the corridor by the reception to our room was a man sat on the couch with his feet up covered in a blanket.not nice to see.

Modern Room - nice decor. Very quiet considering it was close to motorway.bed comfortable and nice pillows. Would defiantly recommend.

Would have been nice to have herbal tea in the bedroom and a fridge. Breakfast was a little cold and a little difficult to reach the bread at the back of the basket onto of the toaster. would of been nice to have a selection of coffee eg - latte

Super clean, great value, reasonable restaurant food and friendly staff.

The aircon system and/or a faulty bathroom fan was so noisy and intrusive a good night's sleep really wasn't possible. We should have asked to be moved earlier in hindsight, but at 3am this didn't seem like a viable option! We have stayed twice before and never had an issue before.

It was a really lovely stay, facilities were great, staff very welcoming and friendly especially the young lady who attended to us at breakfast. We would definitely stay here again if in the environs.

Leisure facilities were very tired and a bit grubby. Went to have some nice time in the pool before dinner but it was being used for kids swimming lessons so not very relaxing! Jacuzzi wasn't warm and had a lot of chlorine in. One of the towels in our room hadn't been cleaned was just folded up wet and dirty but staff changed it straight away. Was a shame that a full sit down breakfast wasn't available any more so we went our somewhere else

Everything. Really nothing to complain about. Location very good for what we needed, staff super helpful especially the girl in the reception, 100% customer care. Very spacious and well equipped room, clean, comfortable, plenty spaces in the car park. Breakfast OK, many options and choices. Positively surprised, especially that British hotels don't usually give you any choice for breakfast apart from Full British one.

The WiFi didn't work on my phone, tried many times but without success. One little thing about breakfast. Everything was super but I would like to see more variety of bread. Only toast which is not good enough for such a level of hotel quality.

The room was spotlessly clean; breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and the staff in the dining area were extremely attentive and very, very pleasant. The evening meal was good too, again, lots of choice. The reception staff, Roy and Dana were very helpful at all times and dealt with all clients in a professional but friendly way.

Our daughter and grandson loved the swimming pool - available all day and well used by families and by us, when we arrived, before we set off for our day out and again when we got back, for a relaxing dip. What a shame Holiday Inn are closing the pool! Surely they are big enough to revamp the facility - maybe with a spa etc.. Even if this pool is costly, it’s a great facility and should be available - there’s no beach or any other leisure facility for children at the hotel - keep the pool! That news was the only bad thing!
