located steps from the old town with parking, a good breakfast , an attractive pool area but most of all an exceptionally helpful staff you won’t be sorry you stayed here

Great facilities, clean and tidy room. Perfect location, near to the main town and a short distance from the covenant.

The size of the room, the environment, the river vue, the gardens, the outdoor pool and the vue of the castle. The area is beautifull indeed.

No room service. The staff. No one tells us you have to pay the parking, until you check out; No explanation about the facilities, when you check in; No simpathy from the staff at breakfast or in the main bar. The staff from reception is the nicest, but they can not make a phone call to a restaurant in town; The manager of the reception was upset when I asked to stay at the outdoor pool until 15H00, because of the coming guests (that check in at 15H00).

The view of the castle, the amenities, the buffet, the free parking. They even offer facial tissue, a rarity in Portugal

Position in Tomar

For a 4 star hotel, the facilities were underwhelming. Expensive for central Portugal. No tea, coffee or kettle in room. Rooms are small. Very slow bar service. Christmas day lunch, which we booked in advance and was very very expensive, was a buffet, not Christmas, and almost inedible. Wine was OK. We know their food can be good, we have eaten there before and this why we chose this for our Christmas break. we will chose another hotel in Tomar next time.

The location of the hotel was superb, the staff were all helpful, polite and friendly. the meals were of a high quality. the facilities excellent. the massage excellent. Bedrooms were clean and tidy.

The service in the bar and pool area was extremely slow.

Wifi signal was poor and the room even though very spacious could do with some updating.

Fantastic hotel. Highly professional and pleasant staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Luxurious accommodation, bar area and lounge. Great value for money considering the high quality of this hotel. Breakfast and all meals fantastic. This is our second stay and our go to hotel when in the area.

The hotel receptionist was a bit slack. I requested he put the sauna on and he forgot to do it. Not having kettles in the room.

The room was spacious and the bathroom too. The room had a balcony. The pool was big and clean and there was a lot of space around. The breakfast had a lot of options and the food was good. The staff was nice. Good location of the hotel, next to a park and to the river.

The room was not very clean, there was some dust. The bathtub looked dirty and there was some mould in it so I was not comfortable using it for a bath. The carpet could use a better cleaning too.
