Although I emailed them to make sure that the Air conditioners working properly, it wasn’t working and it was freeeezin!! Also the toilet seat had yellow color around it which it washed pleasant!!

An effort has been made to modernise this motel. Freshly painted.

The timber shutters on inside windows looked very nice, but unfortunately aren't as effective as curtains as far as light blockout. Alternatively, perhaps outside lights near stairs could be switched off by 10 or 11pm at night. Room was too light!

Tiny carpark. Less car parks than there are rooms. Very tight to be able to park

Spa was Great and it had a balcony

Our room was modern and fresh with a very comfortable bed. The self-check-in worked very well. We enjoyed strolling through the parklands around Lake Pertobe and the waterfront along Viaduct Road.

We found the air conditioner control difficult to operate.

Too noisy - right on the main road and with traffic lights (stayed in room 2) Bed was a shocker

saggy mattress, milk in fridge was open so couldn’t use it. noisy I think the storage room was next to our room and could hear the door closing very early. could also hear people upstairs

It was very clean. The room had all the dishes you needed. The queen size bed was super comfortable. Parking was great and free. Great location. There are heaps of cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets in the street.

The bunkbed was uncomfortable.

The beds were ok, and the block out blinds were appreciated. The best thing was the location.

The room wasn't particularly clean. There was hair from other people on everything - Bathroom floor, in the shower, on the tiled walls, the toilet and the supposedly clean towels. It was uncomfortable. I suspect that whatever was used to clean the bathroom and floors was the same rag that was just moving hair around and not actually cleaning. I would have made a complaint and asked to move rooms, but I was involved in a wedding and I did not have time to address with staff at the time. Luckily I brought thongs I could wear in the shower so I never had to be barefoot and I had my own pillow. I also noticed there was a lot of rubbish hanging around outside the rooms near the carpark. There was a mask that was so faded and dirty, it looked like it had been there on the ground for some time. I felt like the overall property was very unclean and not up to my expectations. Additionally there was a cord from a phone or camera sitting on the couch that had been left by a previous motel guest which makes me concerned for how thoroughly the room is kept. I doubt I will stay here again.

Location, road noise was incredibly loud during the night, but mostly from early morning
