Very good breakfast

We wanted bicycles but they were not available so we had to rent them at the tourist office.

I booked a room for 4 adults (the search criteria used) I paid a fairly high amount I got a room with two beds for adults and two way too short bunker beds.

The staff was the best part about my stay. They were very friendly and ready to help. The breakfast was great and the mattress was very soft.

Although the staff was very nice and helpful, the room itself was not so great. Based on the pictures from the booking I expected a more modern room, both visually and conveniently. I was more than disappointed when I saw that the bathroom looked old and hospital-like, even a small decor would help. Due to the walk-in shower the floor was always wet, and the hairdryer, that seemed to be from the 2000s, merely did its job. As far as the room is concerned, it was poorly furnished as well. The only decorations in the room were 3 small posters. The lighting was bad, the TV wouldn't connect to any smartphone and to adjust the temperature you have to call the reception, however the phone mentioned in the information is nowhere to be found. Instead of a sofa I got a small and battered armchair. I knew I was getting two seperate beds, but a mattress connector would be very much appreciated. The beds were constantly sliding apart, making it impossible to lie with another person. Overall, based on the price and the pictures I expected something better and was really disappointed. Definitely too high a price for such a room.

Breakfast was great. Room was very comfortable. Staff were friendly.

It was such a shame that there is no restaurant, and as the hotel is a little way out of the centre of town, it wasn't always easy to find dinner. For a solo business traveller this is a negative.

Incredibly comfortable room and the hotel looks great and very modern. The breakfast buffet had one of the best spreads I've ever seen, everything you could want from a full English breakfast to a waffle station to fresh bread, fruit, salad and pastries - and all very tasty, not just plentiful. They have a complimentary coffee machine in the lobby which was lovely given that we visited in January. Staff were also very helpful and we could communicate perfectly in English. I had never heard of the Scandic chain before and now will look for them whenever I have business trips. Although we saw plenty of families as well, so it's definitely not 'just' a business hotel.

Breakfast as always is great at the Scandic. Very satisfied and lots of selection!!

The double room we booked had two continental beds which would roll apart from each other …. Not ideal if you either have a baby who co sleeps or if you want to cuddle up to your partner. Room was also very hot and not much air circulation , but could be solved with opening a window if you figure out how to do it

Except for the temperature in the room at night, everything was very good.

We could not regulate the temperature in the room. We like a low temperature when we sleep.
