Location

Rooms are very tiny. No space for desk for working. My room was facing a tiny inside court, no light coming into the room, view on other buildings, buildings were so close that they had a full view inside my room, there were no privacy at all. I had to keep my curtains closed the whole trip. Broken curtains and not working safe box when I arrived, both fixed after I called the reception. Heater was not heating the room ( outside temperature was 2 degrés).

I have stayed in many hotels over the years and this is one of the worst hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in. I was due to spend seven nights in the hotel but on late arrival on our first night I was shocked at the de and Old bedroom wardrobes and furniture and what look like in 1970s carpeting? What made it worse was the blacked out windows which was supposed to promise a courtyard view actually looked out onto a stonewall with graffiti on it. That was about 3 feet away from the window. I had requested a superior double bedroom with a court yard view thinking I would get minimum , quality of modernised elements but none was visible. Previous guest had scratched their initials into some of the bedside cabinet and the dark wood furniture was chipped and marked and very dated. The pillow that I had to sleep on was admitting he fell older and the bed was damp. The shower room again was very dated and had not been modernised in about 50 years. The staff were very unhelpful when I approach them at reception to explain my shock at the poor and low standard of accommodation for such a high price. I was promised that a manager would contact me but nobody did. Equally when I contacted Booking.com. They equally had major challenges trying to reach a manager And no one was forthcoming in anyway to try and resolve the situation. So my son and I moved accommodation for the rest of the week. This was all very stressful and unnecessary. Had the hotel been transparent and honest with their standard of accommodation. So for this hotel to class itself as a five star is shocking and I would read this hotel more of a 2 to 3 star hotel. I am leaving this review so that no other person has to endure what me and my son had to.

Chic French boutique hotel reflecting the charm of the beautiful city.An excellent location for sightseeing ,shopping and experiencing the gourmet restaurants cafes and bars! Welcoming and helpful staff!

Maybe more variety in the minibar in relation to snacks and drinks

The location is superb- right in the centre and overlooking the main square. The bed was comfortable and the staff were attentive.

The breakfast area is very small and crowded. The bar is not very inviting.

I liked the place a lot, excellent location and breakfast, nice atmosphere. The bathroom was quite small and the bed good, but could be better.

Attention to detail in everything. Staff very helpful. Location. Ambiance.

There were insufficient power outlets in convenient locations to charge devices.
