It's right next to the Deutsche Banhof in Erfurt, so you don't even need to pay a taxi to go there, just get out of the station and walk across the street. There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops in the zone, near the technical university. The hotel is very decent, with nice facilities. Enough for a good rest before taking a train trip to other nearby towns and cities.

It's very difficult to get yourself understood in Germany by only speaking in English. The midnight receptionist was very serious but decent, even though we managed to book a room late at night.

Hotel is in a stage where investments need to be taken, value for money is still acceptable, but not more. Rooms and bath rooms need an urgent refurbishment.
