Der Lärm von der Straße. Nicht zu ändern, aber für Ruhesuchende vielleicht ein Problem. Wie in vielen Hotels ist die Schaltung der Lichtquellen nicht immer nachvollziehbar.. ;-)

This is a 4-star hotel - so no unpleasant surprices... Everything was fine: - staff very nice and helpful - location and parking - just a few steps from the city centre (like 10 minutes walk) - outstanding breakfast - very large room and bed

Nothing - just one personal subjective view: the corridors and doors to rooms are designed as old-fashioned ones (like 17-18th century). But it's a modern hotel - so I would prefer cleaner design. But it's not a fault or any reason to lower the points.

very friendly staff, nice and spacy room

when booking i thought the hotel would be more central - it is not really, you need to walk quite a bit to get to the old town and also there is a very busy street along the main entrance, so it is not what one would expect from looking of how the hotel presents itself. Nevertheless, it is easy to walk everywhere and the nice room and the friendly staff compensate for a lot.

the Hotel is pretty good option when you go to western part of Germany and wants to stop for a night

poor breakfast, only acceptable, we asked for a room in quiet area and higher floor but we got room at street site & on the ground floor :-( but generally the Hotel was not bad there is a problem with parking space and you have to part at the street site

I like this hotel and use it several times a year for one night when travelling through Germany. Unfortunately over the years I have found the hotel staff to be increasingly unpleasant. In the morning, when I got up very early to leave as soon as possible, I wanted to check out as soon as possible. Unfortunately, there was no one at the reception, although it should have been open at 6 a.m. (I was there at 6.25 a.m.) I thought to myself that everyone can leave the workplace for a while, so I waited more than 10 minutes. But then I realised I hadn't got up so early to waste time waiting. I looked for the lady from the reception desk who was on the first floor where breakfast is served and was just putting it on hers. I asked her if she could come down to the reception desk because I had been waiting for almost 15 minutes. She told me she was on her way. The receptionist came and, without saying a word, looked at the computer and told me how much I owed. I paid, but I still haven't heard a word of apology or respect for my time. It was enough to say "sorry to keep you waiting" or even "thank you for your patience". I pointed out to the lady that she could at least apologise because I am a hotel guest. She was arrogant and not even sorry, at the end I was the one. who said first goodbye and wished her nice day, she answered without even a slight of smile on her face. On the way out when i was trying to drive out from the hotels parking there was a delivery van from bakery parked in the middle of the driveway even though there was a lot of free parkings. Then I thought to myself : does the hotel guests still get some respect ? It is a pity that this happened because this is really a very pleasant hotel.
