Das Zimmer war viel zu stark geheizt, gefühlt über 25 Grad. Das Problem konnte offenbar trotz Beanstandung nicht gelöst werden.

Top Innenstadt Lage (Bahnhof in ca 10 Min per Fuß zu erreichen, Fußgängerzone und tolle Bäckerei "Tea Room" um die Ecke). Personal beim Check-in außergewöhnlich freundlich und zugewandt. Obwohl auf der Homepage nur französische und englische Sprachmöglichkeit angegeben, hat sie sich sogar sehr bemüht alles auf deutsch zu erklären.

Das Gebäude ist sehr alt, was schon auch charmant ist, aber die Inneneinrichtung des Zimmers war einfach abgewohnt. Das Holzbett hat bei jeder Bewegung geknarscht. Bad sehr alt, warmes Wasser kam Abends fast gar keines. Duschen mit warmen Wasser ging nur morgens. Duschkopf war sehr verkalkt. Für lärmempfindliche Menschen empfiehlt es sich Ohrenstöpsel mitzunehmen. Gebäude sehr hellhörig, zudem natürlich die Innenstadtlage mit den Kirchenglocken der Kathedrale in unmittelbarer Umgebung auch eine Störquelle sein können.

The hotel is old, all the furniture are worn. There is no AC in the room, windows are old and the room was very noisy at night.

Location to restaurants and city attractions etc

room facilities were limited. In hot weather no air-con only basic domestic fan. Tea and coffee were not replenished daily and the two day supply of milk were not replaced for an 8 day stay. Had to go and buy own tea and milk. Breakfast was very limited selection and so better to eat out. Not the 4 star rating I expected
