Staff is nice. He tries to speak slowly and clearly to make sure I understand everything.
This comment is actually for Hilton Airport Hotel since I was so called "upgraded" from Apart Hotel to Hilton Hotel.
1, I have a connected flight with a stop of 9 hours, so I choose to stay in a hotel near aiport instead of any hotel in the city. What I have booked is a room with a "large sofa" so that I can have a comfortable seat during the stop. But what I have been upgraded to is a room with a normal "chair" but not sofa. What "upgrade" is standing for? Only the hotel brand but not the facilities in the room?
2, there is air con in the room, and I have Google how to operate it. Even the heating light is on and I turn to 5+(the highest), the room is still freezing cold. Then I decided to Google the comment about the air con of the Hilton hotel , nearly 70% of them is bad comment. Ok, I can give up on calling the reception for changing room.
I am very disappointed with the facility of Hilton. And the so-called upgraded service. I would rather stay in the airport instead of staying in this freezing cold room.

firstly you book with them but they are closed and you end up in the Hilton next door.
the only good point is you pay the price of The Apart Hotel not the Hilton rate.

We booked 1 night between our flights over the new years eve. However, the hotel closed for some reason and redirected our booking to the Hilton next door - no problem there, all went well.

- The room was ok, easy enough to check-in, and there is a free shuttle from the airport.
- The room was big enough, with a decent bathroom and a comfy bed.
- Also, there is a modest gym and sauna.
- First - it's another review for the Hilton Zurich Airport - there is no Apart-hotel and it's a mystery why it's visible on Booking.
We agreed on this change, but if you expect features of an apart-hotel - you won't find them.
- Next - the place is noisy, mostly because of the road on one side and the parking on another. (planes too, but they are not flying at night)
- The breakfast was below expectations also, very poor choice of cheese (in Switzerland) and ham. The coffee machine was out of order all the time.

The silent hotel which is ideal for sleeping and waiting for connecting flight. Free transport to airport.
Maybe cheaper breakfest in the hotel.

When we stayed, the ApartHotel was closed and we were moved to a budget room in the nearby Hilton. It was nice, but could definitely benefit from some renovations. It did not meet my expectations for a Hilton but at least they honored our reservation. The location was walkable to the metro into Zurich. They gave us complimentary metro cards for the duration of our stay. The hotel has all the amenities you would expect of a Hilton, but we did not use them. It is a very good value when paying ApartHotel prices and staying in a Hilton.
Parking at $25/day is expensive for a suburban hotel. Room could use renovation and was very small. Some of the staff seemed unwilling to offer suggestions, but would answer direct questions.

The booking had been transferred to the nearby Hilton, which gave exceptional value for money.
A little hard to reach by foot from the aAirport (2 km), best to take the shuttle.

We were transferred to the Hilton Hotel which was fine for us but the room was very downtrodden with bad stains on the carpet and an adjoining door which meant we heard the people in there. The male receptionist on arrival was unfriendly which I am not used to in a Hilton.
We stayed there in May and the experience was much better. Restaurant for dinner was excellent again.

Due to maintenance in the Apart-hotel, they transferred our booking to the Hilton hotel. The room type and price remained the same. So, it was nice staying in The Hilton hotel. Hilton hotel is around 200 meters ahead on the same road.
The car parking. It's 25 CHF for overnight parking. it was difficult to find any other public parking nearby. When we brought the overnight parking from reception the parking ticket didn't work at the exit gate the next day morning after we check out the rooms and tried to leave the place. So, I had to reverse back to parking and get the new ticket from the reception to exit the parking lot. The advice here is, to make sure the overnight parking ticket is still active after you checkout.
