Perfect location if you are attending a wedding at Margot Hill. Great getaway - very relaxing with the beautiful lake views. The deck is so spacious and has plenty of seating. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy. We would definitely stay again!

We stayed 3 nights for a girl’s trip Canton weekend. Host provided good and thorough check-in information, though when I messaged a question through the app he did not ever respond. It wasn’t a big issue though, we figured it out. The house is cute, well decorated, beautiful lake view and neat lake access. The house is older and it shows in some things like the rattle in the ceiling fans, smaller rooms, the need for extra A/C window units to keep it cool, and the lack of outlets around the bathroom mirror (had to plug in hair dryer above toilet which was odd but we made do, not worries). The one thing that would cause us to not look at renting here again was the roach in the kitchen. Can tolerate spiders, roaches are an issue with me. Understand you’ll have more bugs next to a lake house but it was surprising to our party and we avoided the kitchen, definitely didn’t cook while we were there. We enjoyed the large dining table for games and the living room was comfortable. The tables outside were nice for sitting and relaxing the short time we spent on the deck. The check out procedures were simple and clear. Overall it was a good stay apart from the big issue.

This house was great for our family getaway of 4 adults and 2 kids. The outdoor areas were wonderful and we spent a lot of time outside enjoying our time by the lake.

This lake home was perfect for our group! It was so relaxing and perfect size. Loved this stay!

I have to echo that for the price this property is very underwhelming. The outdoors and lake are beautiful. The property itself is essentially a renovated double wide. Old, musty, very used furniture. Uncomfortable. Paper thin walls. Spiders greet you in the showers. Thin old towels and only one roll of paper towel and one garbage bag for the weekend. Back doors are so warped that they barely open. Not what I was expecting and we have been to may VRBO units throughout the country. This place needs a renovation or a significant price reduction. My kids both said they’re stuffed animals smell like the lake house still, and not in a good way. Sorry.

Property was perfect for three families. Kids enjoyed the outdoor space all weekend long. The lake was tranquil - perfect relaxing weekend. Close enough drive to major cities to make a 2-3 night stay absolutely feasible. The property manager answered text messages promptly and was pleasant to work with. The kids had a blast fishing off the dock (we caught quite a few while there!) and we all enjoyed the kayaks! Will definitely return.

We loved our stay. We had a group of 8 who slept comfortably and had plenty of room to hang out while indoors. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful getaway just outside the city!

Nothing like I expected for the price I paid. Houses are right on top of neighbors on both sides - very little privacy. Planned for a cookout of the very picturesque back porch to be ultimately disappointed…grill was extremely dirty had run to town to get a scrubber only to find the grill wouldn’t lite -just completely disappointing

This house has the most amazing back yard and patio. The double decker dock was so perfect to drink coffee on and relax. We attended a wedding at Margot Hill nearby for the weekend and it was the perfect location.

Such a cute house! The patio is roomy, beautiful! Loved every minute.

We had a ladies retreat here and it was perfect! The outdoor space is just as gorgeous as the photos, the kitchen is well stocked to cook meals, and the host was easy to work with and helpful! Highly recommend!

We rented this lake house for my sister 50th birthday weekend. It was all family and there was something for everyone. Some fished right off the dock, others enjoyed the top deck sunset, while the bravest tackled the tubes out on the water. You’ll love the back yard with plenty of seating, a fire pit, and awesome bar.

The pictures of the home were nice, but the property was even better in person!! We had an awesome time, and will most likely be booking this home again next year for our fantasy football draft again!! Thank you!!

First, thank you to Wes, an amazing, accommodating host who was attentive prior to arriving and answered our every question and accommodated an early check in to make our family summer vacation absolutely perfect. This paradise has a fun, comfy Caribbean flare with the most stunning views and relaxing setting. The home is comfy, well equipped and provided well for 2 families when you wanted to be together and plenty of space inside and out when you wanted to be alone. We loved the lake which we were in almost constantly, did swimming, tubing and fishing and the youngest girl caught the biggest fish! We toasted s’mores, got a few bug bites, watched movies and just enjoyed one another. We saw deer just walking the neighborhood in the middle of the day, nature at it’s finest. Thank you for having your home ready and welcoming for us, this summer will go down in history as one of the best!

We are lakers - jet skis, windsurfer, paddle board, kayaks, swimming and skiing. This is a great location to be on the water all day. We greatly appreciated the double jet ski lift being available to use and the two kayaks provided as well. It is just a short walk up to the kitchen and out outdoor patio/BBQ, so that was great too. We had 100 degree weather everyday, so the air conditioner for cooling off and sleeping was top notch. Thank you!!

The outdoor area of this house is why you rent this property - the deck, shaded yard & waterslide made this property a great weekend for our family getaway with kids.

Had a group of 6 adults and 9 children it was fun, kids had so much fun on the kayaks, fishing, and the water slide, only thing that we were not pleased was the smell from under the house it had a very bad odor and we couldn't enjoy the patio because of it . The smell was bad like if something was rotten, other than that the house was clean and the amenities were available.

We had a wonderful time. Background and dock area were awesome.

The outdoor patio has so many different areas: relax in private on the hammock, carry on a conversation with 2 or 3 people on the swing, or gather everyone around the large outdoor table. We had folks between 2 years old and an 89 years old and everyone loved the multiple deck areas. We brought our own boat and really used the dock as well. Our adult children enjoyed using the kayaks....so fun! We especially enjoyed sitting around the fire pit at night....visiting and making s’mores. We left with so many great memories! Highly recommend this property!!

We had a group of friends that wanted a weekend away to rest and have girl time. The weekend was perfect!! The house was so comfortable and accommodating. The deck and view of the lake added beauty and the kayaks provided the fun! What a perfect place to stay!
