The room was quite old, with rust showing in the bathroom. There was no coffee machine or even a kettle in the room. I was in front of the elevator and you could hear absolutely everything going on outside, the walls seemed paper thin

Breakfast coffee is one of the worst I have ever tasted in a hotel of this category, We have to pay extra for an expresso. Room bed was small, I hardly fit on it (1,75 mt). The swimming pool water temperature was so cold! that is because it receives only 2 or 3 hours of sunlight per day and the location was just beside the parking lot, so is not a nice view. Value for money did not worst it. It is an expensive hotel and the services could be MUCH better.

Hotel outdated, blanket was damaged, housekeeping moved private stuff including what was in the luggage, noisy housekeeping staff in the morning, walky talky in front of the room woke us up every morning, breakfast not for Gluten intolerance people, coffee not tasty, pool area uncomfortable, no ambience which makes you feel comfortable throughout the hotel

It is nowhere near up to 4* stands. It is also quite rundown - aircon is so noisy it has to be turned off overnight and the room gets extremely hot. Tiles are broken in the bathroom. The shower head is of the worst quality and is leaking from all angles. The bath fills up with water while showing- the drain seemed to be blocked. Disgusting odour is coming from the washbasin. There’s no soundproofing - could hear everything from the neighbouring room. The bed mattress is old and uncomfortable. So are the bed sheets. Toilet paper was not filled up, not even after I called reception so I had to find the housekeeper’s cart and take a roll. Towels in the bathroom were so old they were not white but grey and torn, and stank. The floor is covered with the cheapest laminated boards that are way overdue replacement. The wardrobe’s sliding door didn’t slide at all - could not be opened. Only one of the two lifts were functional. The only cooked breakfast option was scrambled eggs, which was either all gone and not topped up or was full of eggshell pieces and therefore absolutely inedible. Their fruit selection on the other hand was quite decent. The receptionist at checkout was so unexperienced she could not use their own billing system and added the wrong charges and could not reverse her error. I could not wait for a more experienced staff to turn up, otherwise I would have missed my flight so I ended up being overcharged £140.

Despite COVID arrangements, the staff made our week-long stay very pleasant. The location could not be better. My next visit to Mendoza will include this hotel as my base.

Had to ask for a second chair. Better if there is a comfortable reading chair.
