A hidden gem! Spacious individually styled rooms, a gorgeous setting and a lovely pool! Our hosts were warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The most unique of breakfast ‘rooms’ - under a canopy in the garden filled with lemon trees. A true Sorrento experience

To start with: we really enjoyed our start at Il Roseto! Our room was spacious, was clean, had a big bathroom and a silent functioning AC. Breakfast was nice: freshly pressed orange juice, excellent espresso and sweet sandwiches as well as plain sandwiches with cheese and meat. The pool at the premises is of nice temperature (the water) and there are enough sun beds. It's also possible to order food and drinks. It's easy to reach by car and you can park the car on the premises itself. Staff is bery friendly and always happy to help out!

It's a 15 min walk to the town center. We did not mind, but it is something to consider.

too far from town, walking along busy dangerous road in places no footpath. no complimentary tea or coffee in rooms (or anywhere on the premise). b’fast poor food choice for diabetic… mostly sweet danishes. no restaurant’s close by… have to walk to town for food! did not feel it was value for money. should have had tea and coffee available in room as is standard most places.

Relaxing atmosphere, Maria and Antonio were lovely hosts, rooms were clean and comfortable, lovely pool area.

Facilities somewhat run down. Shower was leaky and the showerhead kept falling off. Lots of weeds in the garden area. The whole place needs a bit of investment and love.

Off season breakfast wasn't that fresh and a bit chilly outside.

The breakfast was wonderful. The pastries were delightful with Maria’s delicious cappuccino. The fresh-squeezed orange juice and the salami and cheese plate really added to a hearty morning breakfast. The Only downside to the location was the walk to city center. It took about 15-20 mins. Pathways are very narrow or non existent in a few spots, and traffic is heavy. It is a main thoroughfare. Breathing in the fumes and dodging vehicles each time is unpleasant. We never saw the local bus to or taxi to use. So walking was the only real option.

The only dislike was the walk to town which they had no control over, given we were carless.

Wonderful spot. Really nice & quiet, a walk away from the main hustle & bustle of central Sorrento. Staff were very accommodating, breakfast - served outside in the garden area - was really nice and the pool area & cafe were excellent!

It is a fair walk into the main hub of Sorrento, which was fine for us, but something to be aware of if you have people in your party who wouldn't be so keen on that. It is however, one straight road into town, so is an easy route.
