Great staff, tried their best to accommodate our requests to make our stay even better!

Not for vegetarians! Otherwise the location is beautiful, the restaurant serving staff were brilliant (especially Barbara), the beach is just across the road, little shop downstairs. Nice to have the swimming pool for windy days. Great bike and SUP storage space. Parking is tricky in the area, so you have their garage (paid per night) or free on road parking.

Stay totally let down by the chef, who was inflexible and grumpy. We booked half board and this apparently meant we got the 'menu' which has 3 starters, mains and desserts to choose from. None were ever vegetarian. Even as we compromised and took fish it was not ideal as that meant things like whole bream with head/eyeballs etc! On one of our 5 evenings he grumpily gave in and produced a nice mushroom risotto, but spoiled the gesture with bad grace, asking the waitress to inform us specifically that they 'were not a specialist vegetarian restaurant'. In this day and age it's just surprising; surely we can't be the first! We were advised to take the a la carte, and when I looked at that there was no veggie main course either!! Imagine if we'd been gluten free or vegan lol!!! So heads up travellers, there are 3 other nice restaurants in the village and whilst Spain isn't known for great veggie food, they have the sense to cater to a cosmopolitan tourist audience at those- as we had paid for the evening meal, the stay wasn't cheap I wasn't so inclined. Also portion control was random, a huge starter one night of stodgy (home made but rope-thick, he has delusions of grandeur and cheffiness) followed by a full large fish on the bone, and the next night a nouveau cuisine sized teeny salad starter followed by a light main. Breakfast on the other hand was really nice. We ate evenings in the main newish outdoor restaurant, but I note the welcome brochure in the hotel (and maybe here online in the small print) says you have to eat in the other restaurant room, so in June perhaps we were lucky to eat in the nicer salon with it's vaulted ceiling. Have to give a shout out to Barbara the waitress who was uber professional and a little ray of sunshine - all the restaurant staff were very warm and welcoming.

The location was great. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The staff was very helpful.

Smoking is permitted in balconies. It prevents non smokers to use the balcony when a some one smokes in a nearby balcony.

The location of the hotel is 2 km from center of Roses. But the Canyelles bay & beach is breathtaking. So for us it was totally worth the walk of 45 minutes. There is a coastal path (marked white/red) with beautiful seasight.

The breakfast buffet was really good. The rooms were also very big and clean.

The room was a bit overpriced for a 1-night stay.

The personnel was exceptional! Always helpful, friendly and spoke many languages. We had forgotten a bag at the airport when we arrived and they (Meritxell and Jordi ... gracias!!) took action to help us get it back! Amazing service!! The location: June was a great time to go (before summer crowds), it's quiet (except for cars on the street), the beach is beautiful (sand and minimum waves). Food: breakfast was also exceptional with so many options. We only ate once at the restaurant and that was good. There are a few restaurants on the street so there are enough options. You can also take the little bus to roses if you want more options (last one returns at 21:00 though). The hotel is clean and rooms large enough. Room with a view is better if you can afford it. This hotel / location is great for couples, families, singles... less for young people who want a lot of action.

Parking can be difficult. The hotel parking is 21 Euros per day, a bit much. There is a parking lot close by for 5 euros/day in and out. We were lucky to find parking on the street every time we returned home. Pool is nice but a bit small. The hotel is on a street that can get loud at certain times (pool also faces the street)...that was the thing we liked the least. Otherwise everything was great!

Excellent buffet breakfast. Beach access is across road and down 30 steps so a could be difficult for older people. Beach Bar/Restaurant is owned by the hotel - good for drinks but food not good. Hotel restaurant food very good.

rooms very noisy, you can really hear every toilet flush or talk from the bedroom beside !! also, the personnel at bar/restaurant quite impolite: we’ve asked to bring the dinner in room as my partner was sick, but they didn’t let us ! then, at 10.20 ok I wanted to order. drink at the bar, but the girl (a blonde one) told me she would t serve drinks anymore !! it was 10:20 pm !!! not 2 am !!! not a good service at all !!!

The beds were big and very comfortable. Location wise is excellent, nice views from the poolside.

In reality the rooms are a bit more outdated and the pool area doesn’t have a green space like in the pictures. Staff’s behaviour and attitude wasn’t satisfying, especially of the waiters at the seaside restaurant of the hotel- we waited more than 30 minutes on the hot burning sun to even be asked if we would like the menu to be brought to us and paid no importance to our discomfort. Although thanks to this we left immediately the restaurant and discovered a perfect little spot called Gua Gua which was perfect, highly recommended. I would like to think that this lack of motivation of the employees of the hotel was due to the fact that our visit was on the last day of the summer season and everyone just wanted to finish and the hotel to be closed up for the winter. Anyhow one would expect more from a hotel of 4 stars.
