The place is very cozy with an old world charm. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is perfect.

The only thing I would comment on is the wifi. Wifi is weak

The included breakfast was exceptional. The bathtub in the room was a real joy. The decor was wonderful.

The glass shower door did not fit quite right and this let some water escape onto the floor.

The breakfast was simple fare but tasty and the hotel location was perfect for motorway access. The hotel gardens were outstanding and set dinner was great value and very well presented. An all round wonderful stay.

Everything was great - no issues at all. A perfect hotel to enjoy quality service with value for money and in a peaceful location.

- beautiful, authentic hotel, nice décor outside, inside in the corridors and in the room - the room was spacious and nicely decorated - the room and the bathroom were clean - bathtub to relax after a long day - safe parking at the property - big garden - nice area to have a little walk - absolutely amazing staff at the restaurant, very nice and welcoming, the restaurant is pleasant and quiet, overlooking the garden, the food was delicious (it was a lot of food but I couldn't stop eating because of how good it was), if you're a hotel guest, it's a real VIP treatment - tasty breakfast with good variety of food - beautiful tableware, it really made everything perfect

- the corridors smelled a bit like cigarette smoke (but the room smelled nice) - it was a little bit noisy in the night - the sounds of an old house and there were some noisy people in the street outside my window

The whole place boasts dark wooden floors and ceilings with apparent wooden beams. We had a very spacious room with two balconies and view on the surrounding mountains. Comfortable big bed. Nice breakfast. Relaxed atmosphere.

Wifi is a bit sketchy...

The hotel is situated in a pretty little town, close to walking and bike trails plus lots of routes for road cyclists. The interior is, as shown in the photographs beautiful with many pieces of antique furniture. We had a large ensuite room which was good value for money. The breakfast was good. The hotel attracts guests because of its dinner menu which is impressive.

The building is old, and whilst the interior was beautiful, the fixtures and fittings hadn't been updated. A radiator was dripping on the landing outside our room, I know it sounds churlish, but two remotes for the TV, plugs would warm up quickly.

The lounge area, the restaurant and its food was excellent and good value for the money, the spacious room and helpfulness of the staff we met. The car park was nice and secure also.

Lack of information on available drinks from the small bar which is hidden away in the restaurant area. A drinks menu in the lounge area would have been useful as we did not know what was available and at what cost.

The room/bathroom both on-point. Very good indeed. And the hotel itself is so, so lovely.

First night, I had the dinner. Was very average. Service rushed, food not great. But had dinner again on final night, totally great. Food superb. Proper fresh coffee for breakfast would shuffle the score up another notch, too. Minor gripes - this is a great hotel.

We actually were upgraded at check in. Property had a large group so we got moved to a large suite! Beautifully decorated and a very comfy bathroom. Food and staff at the restaurant was great. After being so long in the road, this property staying was like an Oasis.

We were looking around area of San Sebastian and we got directed to this property which was 40 min driving from our route. Complicated road in the mountains with heavy traffic. Hotel was located in a corner, so our room was just in top of the road. No air conditioner, with open windows was fresh enough but a bit noisy. Unfortunately, bed was outdated and uncomfortable 😣.

The prix fixe dinner menu was fabulous & an incredible deal. Our meal was outstanding!!!

Staff Service Atmosphere Traditional building construction and fan in the room partially alleviates the lack of air conditioning.

It exceeded our expectations. Lovely rooms, very clean and comfortable beds.
