On recommande!

There was a mix up with our room on arrival but fortunately we were upgraded to the deluxe so that’s why my scores are high here. Breakfast had a good variety and the terrace views fabulous.
The location is quiet and at the edge of the medina. The pool was very refreshing on hot days.
The staff are helpful in every way.

The plunge pool was beautiful and having a roof deck to use for meals was really nice. The Riad’s decoration is beautiful and very traditional. it is a beautiful old building. The staff was very helpful and answered our long list of questions and they were accommodating for timing of meals.
Because it is an older building maintenance will be a challenge over time and some of it shows now.

We had an amazing time! Youssef and his colleagues went above and beyond to get us anything we wished for. The Riad looks absolutely beautiful and breakfast was amazing as well. The staff was very kind and welcoming! The pool is a very nice (albeit a little cold) addition, perfect for cooling off after a long day in the Medina. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace is incredible, with wide-open views of Fes.
Nothing really. Just be mindful if you have dust allergy to bring some antihistamine (the riad has gorgeous carpets and curtains)

The workers were amazing. They helped us woth everything, very nice and familiar people. The breakfast really good and the riad is very nice and confortable.
Just the location because its in a small street and at night people didnt recommended us to go alone.

Tirelessly helped to try and retrieve my lost luggage from Royal Moroccan Airlines. Took me on a scooter to exchange money. Went and bought my train tickets for our journey from Fes to Marakesh, in short fantastic service.

The staff were super friendly, they greeted us on the street when we arrived. They arranged a taxi for us (the taxi actually used the meter which was the first and only time a meter was used on our whole trip in Morocco!)
The pool was super fun, the breakfast was great! Thanks so much.
Lastly, big shout-out the mohammed, one of the staff members who was finishing a night and walked us to our taxi :) thanks Mo, you made our trip so smooth

Stuck in elevator was a very scary experience!

Lovely friendly place with hospitable staff.
Needs some TLC… beautiful place but needs a serious cash injection to make it special
4.5
Beautiful terrace and really nice place overall
Staff very helpful and friendly but maybe a little understaffed as sometimes it was hard to locate the receptionist
Great value. In the Medina but easy to find and not in a crazy busy area. About a 7 minute walk to the main Medina area

The staff were so kind and accommodating. Abdellah, Youssef and Mohammed were extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly. They made my stay so wonderful and one of a kind. They invited me to do iftar with them as I went during Ramadam and this was so special to me.

The location is wonderful and very nice location quite near to the Medina of Fez. The rooms are quite big and during the night it is very quiet. From the terras in the 4 floor you will have a amazing view over the whole city and the surrounding mountains. The entrance room is definitely like a real palace and the employees are super nice and always try to make a chat with you during your stay. They also offered us a guide for €35 euros for almost the whole day. He showed us the whole city and explained all the details about the arabic culture. Something I would for this price definitely recommend.
Everything was ok, maybe some minus points are that the bathroom furniture is a bit old and the windows made some noise during a heavy storm in the last night, however you could see this as part of the charm of this location. In general you see they try to improve and restaurate many things to improve the quality.
3.5
A nice big riad with two different courtyard spaces. Overall well maintained. The decor was artistic and it amazed us that the outside n inside of these riads are like completely different worlds.
The staff were polite n spoke good English.
The rooms are as the pictures.
There were differences in comms depending on who you spoke to.
1. One staff stated hotel was full n couldn't give us our double room that we booked, other who stated we had requested for twin rooms when making the booking. Yet another was more sympathetic and said he will check what could be done and ultimately they gave us a double bed in a higher category so we atleast we got a better option.
2. When we called the hotel enroute we were advised dinner would be available at the hotel restaurant, but when we reached we were informed the cook was on leave that day. Then later we were told the cook could be called to the hotel if we gave them some notice...it was all very confusing.
3. The staff were trying to promote other restaurants for dinner and you always end up wondering if the restaurant is truly recommended or if they got a percentage cut. Thankfully though the food was tasty even though it was more expensive than expected.
4. It was situated in the Medina but away from the main part so deserted. The staff needed to accompany us to the nearby riad for dinner and everyone openly stating it was unsafe to venture out by ourselves at night even though we were a big family group. That felt a bit unnerving.
5. Breakfast portions were very limited. We were a family of 10 but got 4 chocolate croissants n 4 raisin danish..when we requested for more we were told they had run out. So we didn't even have 1 of either for the entire group.
6. We had a goofup with our booking which booking.com was meant to rectify ahead of our arrival but it wasn't. Unfortunately the hotel refused to acknowledge they could do anything at the time we checked in so we ended up getting charged extra.
7. The pillows are very high n not comfortable n the lighting of the rooms were dimly lit.

My partner and I stayed at the Palais D'hotes for three nights.
The hotel main entrance is through an alleyway. The taxi will drop you a few minutes away from the entrance due to convenience. Main reception, looks spectacular and greeted with morocoan tea and warm welcome.
The initial room given (Jasmine) was on the 4th floor, far end of the terrace. The room was OK but not worth the price. The bed was not comfortable, unable to reach WIFI connectivity, the air conditioning broke (fixed the next day), the cupboard did not close, no shampoo, lotion, and stuffy smell.
I requested to change the room the next day and was given an upgrade (Meknes). Since the upgrade, my view changed and had a great stay.
The breakfast and dinner are decent. I recommend the hot moroccon soup.
I did not use any of the spa services, so I can not comment.
The customer service is outstanding. Thank you to Muhammad, Abduallah, and Yousuf for supporting my stay at Fes through arranging special arrangements and providing excellent service.
There is no iron in the room.
Bed and pilows are not comfortable.

Clean room, helpful staff, beautiful riad courtyard, amazing view from the roof terrace
1. breakfast order were not always accurate
2. located in quieter part inside medina wall, no fault of the hotel but felt bit unsafe walking to and from to medina at night time as streets leading to hotel were poorly lit, made worse by local boys harassing with 'this road is closed... I will show you the way'' tactics for some money
4.5
The place is amazing with large rooms and comfortable beds, the shower was warm and very powerful and the breakfast was ample. However what made The stay even better was The staff, especially Youseff and Abdullah. They could not do enough for you and the service these guys gave was the best. They always had time for you and even though there were slight issues with our stay they got everything sorted within seconds. They were helpful and attentive.
The issues we did have was there was a leak in the bathroom I had but they swapped my room. Maybe as well there could be air fresheners to give the room a scent of freshness even though the rooms were clean the air fresheners would just add to the wow factor they already have. Even though there were plenty of plants and greenery maybe some flowers could add to the atmosphere.

terrasse, and view from Terrasse, nice pool .. traditional beautiful andalusian building

The courtyard is beautiful. When you walk in you really do feel like you are staying in a palace. Also a beautiful terrace which we used even though it was cold.
The rooms themselves are drab and a little depressing. Hot water was difficult to come by and there was absolutely no water pressure. They staff were functional but not overly helpful. On the day we were leaving, we had to leave early and asked for a take away breakfast for the train. They said that would be fine but then when we had to leave, there wasn't a soul to be found.
