Bar meal was only average

All staff were so friendly and attentive. The room was clean with good facilities. I will definitely be staying again.

The rooms are always very hot, totally personal preference I know but for me they are too hot and that unfortunately affects sleep and overall comfort.

Lodge room was spacious. Modern bathroom. Great location just 5 mins walk from restaurant/shopping strip.

All the staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. It’s great that the room we had you could park right outside. They made our dog feel very welcome for which they have a special area where you can take your dog and sit and eat. They even have a dog menu.

Superb location very nice modern clean hotel,comfortable rooms,good breakfast and very good evening meals.Staff friendly and welcoming,we felt at home there would definitely recommend and we would love a return visit.

The hotel is clean, well presented & the staff are lovely. We had breakfast & dinner on both days of our stay & the food was fabulous, very generous portions too. We had a Welsh Cream Tea in the bar, which was as filling as it was delicious. The room we had was generous & comfortable, with parking directly outside the door. The bar is well stocked, if a little pricey.

The prices in the bar, but they are hotel prices, so there is little that can be done about that.

Breakfast - fabulous. Evening meal - fabulous. Lovely dining room and bar area, as well as outdoor space.

We enjoyed the pool & spa. Free parking & how central it is but most of all how welcoming everyone was.

Room was over the noisey bar with loud music Spa was covered in unprofessional signs / warnings/ rules .. not relaxing . Paid extra for delux room.. wallpaper was applied poorly (kinks) and did not warrant the premium

The gym was functional if a bit small. Enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. Nice and clean.

Room was a bit small and basic for the money paid. Train track at rear and could hear the trains early in the morning. No views just a hedge at rear. A bit dull and dingy. No chambermaid service. A plastic bag of coffee and tea sachets hung on the door handle outside constituted the room service/cleaning! Menu unhealthy, basic meals and at expensive prices toboot!

loved the American style chalets very American motel like which we loved ❤️ and the location is fabulous , food was amazing and staff were great :)

over sensitive fire alarms when you used the shower the alarms were set off and staff had to come to us twice and on the second occasion asked us to open windows to stop it going off until Stan had dispersed , having windows open on freezing cold night was not great .

perfect location and ideal base for local hiking. ticked all my boxes for what I needed. Cooked breakfast in the mornings was very nice!
