Not having anywhere to store our luggage whilst waiting for the room to be available.

Smart, clean, good location

Shower door not in it’s track at bottom so I thought I was in danger of it falling in on me

the bed was comfortable and the room looked nice
there wasn’t any staff around and we was left too it the staff also approached me in a rude manner

Not much
Bathroom was split in 2 with the sink in the bedroom, think we were assigned a different room (lower quality) than the one posted in the pictures.

Really friendly, professional and helpful staff that helped us with everything we needed and were promptly available and ready to help. Much appreciated guys!

Close to the beach
Almost everything, the internet connection is very poor on the room, I asked for a service to my room but no one showed up till I left. The radiator wasn’t working.. etc

Location of the property was great.
Bedroom door too big for the frame so it had to be SLAMMED shut. No shower door so bathroom got flooded after every shower. Curtains not hung up properly, meaning only 1 curtain was able to be pulled back. Only 1 out of the 3 windows opened. Room looked totally different to the advertising photos. The website stated there would be sea views, the properties location means no sea views are available. There was no plug for the bathroom sink and the hot water was extremely temperamental - showering was a difficulty as it went from freezing cold to boiling hot and no in between. The TV didn’t have regular channels and for someone who doesn’t have netflix/ other streaming services, this meant we couldn’t watch TV. The cleanliness of the property was also very poor, we cleaned the surfaces in the room before putting our belongings down. The property also didn’t provide any parking.

The location was really good, near the beach and shops.
The room was very warm though the weather outside is fairly cool and we kept the windows open. They have provided a fan inside the room but its not enough to cool down the room. Also the drains in the toilet are very slow, might need declogging.

Right by the beach and a small bus ride from the city centre
I had the smallest bathroom that I have ever been in. Would've much preferred a room with bigger bathroom

After 4 stays at the Westbourne and numerous requests I still have not received one of my invoices.

It was comfortable and tidy. Not too far from the town. Right next to the beach. They changed the linens daily. Staff were cheery and helpful.

The lady at the reception desk was extremely pleasant. She kept messaging me to make sure I arrive before 18:30 as the reception is unattended until morning.
They respected the "no disturbed" sign and kept leaving clean towels and toiletries in front of the door each day.
Location is very nice and not far from major attractions. The room was on the ground floor which was a plus as the building doesn't have an elevator.
Although the ground floor was good, the room door was right behind the reception desk. Literally, you step out of the room at the reception desk. So you could hear people walking. Luckily, workers come to work around 9 am and I was leaving at that time .
The toilet seat would definitely need to be replaced. It's all yellowish. A sink is not in the bathroom , but I guess you have to get used to that if you stay in Kemptown. Buildings are old so I guess not enough room .

I had stayed here earlier in the year so knew exactly what to expect. Really appreciated the small fridge, made the stay even better for me as I could store milk, drink a lot of tea.

The heating didn’t work. The bed was very soft on the sides such that you would almost fall out of bed unless you slept in the middle.

The location of the hotel is good and close to beach and pier.
The Rooms were not comfortable.The matresses were very bad and we kept sinking in them.we booked 2 rooms and requested them to be close but we were given rooms on different floors!The hotel is not baby friendly and has no space to keep buggy and the staff clearly told us that they will not help us in this regard.Also they gave us the room on the 3rd floor(property has no lift!) when we had a infant with us and a buggy to handle!In short we had a tough time!!I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone with family or babies!!

Everything that is to do with them is amazing, bed was comfy, staff were lovely, room was clean, great service overall.
I didn’t realise parking was a nightmare, which is no fault to the hotel, just maybe a tiny bit extra warning would be preferred.

when we got there there was a message on the door saying they were working from home. who works from home in hospitality?! they said there was a text sent that I didn’t receive, the poor lady who works next door had to let us in. the bedrooms were tired, the shower doors didn’t close, the toilet seat was old and stained and there was a used miniature bottle of travel shower gel with only a third left for myself and my partner to use. unbelievable! what a disgrace and for £180 a night it’s an embarrassment

A pleasant looking room, slept well in bed and had a great modern shower room.
The sink in bedroom a bit slow to drain but not the end of the world and can be an easy fix with drain clear crystals.

Nicely decorated, clean throughout, really friendly member of staff on reception and great location for where I was going.
The windows are not sealed very well, in the room I was staying in, the noise from outside was quite loud during the day, and unfortunately was woken up several times during the night.

It's a perfect location as close to the sea front and the city centre.
The room was a bit tired looking, and could do with updating and it wasn't the cleanest place we've stayed, and the toilet smelled bad.
