Bad smell from the leaking toilet in the room.. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable
Besides the ensuite leaking toilet he eggs were undercooked & the white pudding was overcooked...I could've used it as a washer...
Still had a goods nights kip tho.. place could use a revamp...

We liked the location, evening meal and staff.
No hot water or telephone connection in the room. When reported to the front desk it seemed it was only our room but chatting with people next door and opposite they also had no hot water. A room next door was offered as I really wanted a bath...guess what? No hot water there either! Not good when charging over £100 per night. Continental breakfast also quite poor. Room cleaners didn't wash used cups.

Bed comfort was excellent, bedding quality also excellent. Room had modern furnishings and plenty of space for a one night stay. Staff friendly and welcoming.
Ceiling fan over bath requires attention.

Dinner at the Drummond,was the best part of stay. The staff were courteous and helpful.The location was what we required.The hotel was on a main route.
The bathroom was a letdown. Electric shower was poor.Shower curtain not great , bath didnt have a nonslip surface.

From the minute you arrive you are made very welcome. The ladies at the reception make you feel at ease and all you have to is fill in your details and obtain your key to your room. On one occasion, I had to cancel my booking, but it was no bother as they gave me a new date of my choice.
Honestly, I couldn't find any fault to the time you arrive and to the time of your departure.

Had surgery in the hospital across the road and the owner and staff couldn’t do enough for us! They were so accommodating and kind. The breakfast included was fab and the food in general is lovely especially the pavlova dessert 😊

The owner Jim went above and beyond allowing us to come down for breakfast 1 hour before service. The breakfast was cooked fresh to order. The hotel is relaxed and the food was great. Great gem which was ideal for us attending the clinic across the road. See you again Jim.

Friendly family run hotel. So warm and welcoming. Clean and comfortable. Food was delicious. Breakfast was fab, especially the soda bread with fry. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Hotel it’s self was nice and very clean staff were friendly .
Breakfast was a let down hot food in short supply had to wait for eggs and sausages know tomatoes or mushrooms and know tea pots or coffee pots for the table .

Lovely comfortable room and friendly staff. They make you feel so welcome and at home. Very enjoyable breakfast and delicious bar food reasonably priced. I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend this hotel.
