A localização é muito boa e a praia é maravilhosa. O café da manhã bem variado e o buffet no jantar também. O atendimento na praia e piscina é muito bom. Tem música ao vivo todas as noites.
Não demos sorte com o quarto, ficava na ala antiga do hotel, o quarto era pequeno, o banheiro também e a vista lateral do mar dava p um terreno vazio. O ar condicionado estava direcionado para a cabeceira da cama o que me deixava com dor de cabeça no outro dia. A opção foi dormir ao contrário, nós pés da cama pq não dá p desligar o ar devido ao calor.

When wee booked this hotel were aware that it was a simple resort, however we expected some basic things to be in order. The food was absolutely awful, poorly prepared, they could not provide even a fried egg in a proper way. The hotel was also dirty and we had cockroaches in our room.

Beautiful location with incredible facilities, a great menu, and wonderful drinks.
Some repairs are underway in a few places, and have been ongoing for too long.

The location is fantastic, right on the beach. There is plenty of staff and always available. The breakfast and globally all the food is great and diversified.
We had a very nice room with seaview. Unfortunately the bathroom is too small for such a standing and the lighting was just decent.. They were not enough sockets in the room. At the reception it was hard to find someone who could speak english. For such a hotel I would have expected to get an english speaking attendant more frequently available.

Our room was directly above the kitchen/bar and it was quite noisy during the night/morning.

the beach in front was perfect for me, for most people they thought it was dangerous but it’s actually not. it’s just choppy. i was the only human in the water most days…. paradise.
my only complaint, and it’s not even a real complaint because at times I enjoyed it… they have live music every night. I had to stay near the common areas because my grandma can’t walk too well, but if I could I would have looked for a different room because I like to sleep before 10pm and the music goes until 10pm. but it’s a nice thing to enjoy at dinner… I just recommend getting a room far away if you can :)

It was an amazing experience to be at Solar Hotel, the staff was very polite all the time, the bedroom was very good and spacious.. the menu very good too. I strongly recommend!

the view towards the pool during breakfast was very nice
Porto de Galinhas can easily be reached by taxi; also a car-rental is right opposite the hotel
...and the Caipiroskas are great :-)
the pool can get a bit crowded because it is not so big

Location, breakfast and fresh towels daily
Long check in and out - also had trouble checking in as the staff didn’t immediately have us the room we booked. It took a manager to approve our room cause it’s one of their best rooms facing the beach on the highest floor. The staff probably didn’t believe we could book that room for a cheaper price, but we booked 4 months in advance. They also insisted that we use my partner’s credit card cause she was Brazilian and my US credit card could cancel payment!

The hotel has an incredible infrastructure. It offers everything you need to have an enjoyable stay - kids playground, adult/kids swimming pool, jacuzzi, gaming area, hammocks, outdoor beds and bar support on the beach. The staff are super friendly and will go out of their way to make you feel special. Highly recommended.
Overall the food and drink in the restaurant are very good, however, overpriced. You can have a similar or better meal in Porto de Galinhas village for a fraction of the price.
