Room was very spacious and beds comfortable. Good variety for breakfast.
Throughout our three-night stay, used glasses were left outside in the hallway opposite the room next to us. Hallway appeared to need maintenance with mould visible where carpet met wall below external windows. We were in room 246.

Our breakfast was perfect as always and the staff very helpful and friendly.
We have stayed at the Crowne Plaza Terrigal several times in the past. On this occasion, I was not as impressed with our room. There were hairs left in the bath. I was not really impressed either with the soap/shampoo dispenser bottles in the shower. The usual wrapped soaps and mini shampoo/conditioner are always a nice touch in any hotel. I felt like we were in the 'budget' room.
The room as very hot and stuffy. I rose at least five times during the night to turn the air conditioner on, as it kept turning off.

The room we got overlooked, the beach and pool, which was amazing! The staff was great, and the room service was very reasonable. The Central location of the place was great as it was easy to find.

The location is perfect. The swimming pool is also great though very crowded in the day time. Staff were welcoming and did their best.
The hotel and rooms are dated. Although it has recently been refurbished I didn't notice much improvement on our stay several years ago. We booked a king room with balcony though the balcony was small and not pleasant to sit outside.
As it is part of IHG group I was expecting more for the price we paid. I am aware it was the busiest time of the year. As a Platinum Elite member 198494815 I expected a little more attention. At other IHG resorts we were spoilt with customer service.

The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. I didn't have to run around asking for help. Help was always available.
The prices per night were a little steep but overall it was a wonderful stay.

we had to spend Extra 1200 to upgrade to a bigger room and the kids ended up sleeping on a sofa bed and we lost the living area

Great location and sea view from room #509 was fantastic. Staff interaction was minimal but always friendly when approached.
Although the room was clean there is a distinct ‘Outdated’ feel. Disappointing there wasn’t a stand alone shower, but rather a bath with a shower above it. It seemed there are some works in progress onsite and this may be the modernisation of rooms? Additional cost of car parking at $25 per night a bit steep after the premium cost of rooms.

The hotel staff were very warm , helpful and professional . It gave the impression of a good team spirit among the staff , people enjoying their work . Upon check in , Denise gave us the warmest of welcomes . The hotel is in a fantastic location, with everything within walking distance, including the beach . We will definitely stay here again , as well as recommend it .
