Lack of. Parking

Lovely sea front room, great welcome, and they fitted us in for Sunday early dinner. Breakfast was very good too with lots of choice. All the staff were great and engaging.

The location was perfect. Directly across the street from the beach. Comfortable bed and really cozy room. The bathroom was very clean with a walk-in shower. Restaurant and bar on the ground floor. Very close to the incline railroad that travels to the top of a nearby hill with a spectacular view. A GREAT value for the money. Late May weather was beautiful. Breakfast was included in the price. First time here and was very fortunate in my choice. WOW!

Please note: First time visitors should not expect a brand new structure. This is not a dislike for me but some people, especially those from the US, (I am a US citizen) may expect something different. The Glengower is a well-kept historic structure. It is clean, comfortable and staffed with truly excellent staff. There is no AC but cool ocean breeze, open window and cold nights provide comfortable environment if daytime outside air is warm. Some visitors may not want to stay in an older hotel but the Glengower adds a wonderfully unique flavor you will never get at a chain hotel.

A small fridge in the room?!

I actually arrived on the wrong day - I had booked for the following day by mistake. The staff were brilliant and sorted me out a room without making me feel like a nuisance! The bar and restaurant are lovely, overlooking the sea. The food was fantastic.

Nothing really - I had a twin room and would have preferred a double bed, but as I said, that was my fault!

The View Lovely airy comfortable room. Very welcoming. Tasty sausages for breakfast.

Parking. I drove round and round for 20+ minutes before resorting to parking outside the front door on white line. Fingers crossed that the traffic warden will let me off as I checked in then went to move the car!!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice pub, great view.

What can I say? From the welcoming,friendly, helpful staff to the spotless room, comfortable bed and choice of breakfasts. I will not hesitate to book again when staying in Aberystwyth.

I can imagine parking may be tricky at busier times of the year. Not for my visit though. Sorry, nothing negative to say.

Room spacious, comfortable and very clean, very thoughtful of staff to add oil heater to room given cold windy and wet weather. Will visit again.

There was nothing to dislike about the Glengower.

Nothing not to like. Exceptionally windy weather, only downside was noise from this from the window.

Breakfast was really nice. You could have cereal, fruit, yoghurt and fruit juice. Unlimited Tea and coffee brought to the table by a lovely waitress. Then a choice of full breakfasts - veggie, Welsh or build your own with an opportunity to take something with you if required.

There's nothing that we didn't like. We would definitely return.

The Hotel is right on the beach, and very close to the shops, staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was great everything is in walking distance from the hotel, the hotel is great well decorated

Can’t say there was anything that I didn’t like

Firstly the staff, everyone were exceptionally pleasant and welcoming. The position of the hotel was very convenient. We found everything about the hotel was to our liking including the food which was exceptional for the cost.

Apart from the weather, remember this was Wales in January we liked everything.

The expansive windows that literally looked over the edge of the water. Large and clean room. Quiet. Polite staff and delicious food.

View was brilliant over the sea. Breakfast was very good and selection catered for all tastes/requirements Room was very comfortable and temperature was good.

I had a concern about the drainage of water in the shower. At one point I thought it was going to overflow onto the bathroom floor. I did raise my concern at breakfast the next day but checked out before knowing if the issue had been looked into.

The bed is not comfortable at all !

A wonderful, relaxing mini break..stunning sea view expentionaly clean room, very cosy good food and a warm welcome..already planning on coming back.
