No restaurant available, dirty carpets in hallway (same piece of rubbish on the stairs from our arrival on Friday evening to departure Sunday morning), dirty marks on hotel room wall, wall unit in hotel room was missing veneer, shower was not clean (pink marks on floor by door), hot water limited in the hotel, untidy balcony area…our booking was last minute but at the very least a hotel like this should be cleaned properly. Would not recommend.

Location was great. We chose room with private outside spa with view to mountains and river. It was amazing and romantic. Also room was big enough, with everything what we needed. Big bathroom with bathtub, shower, bathrobes.

What I didn’t like or I would change, was put some cover over outside spa, because I cleaned it before we used it. And also I found a few cobwebs.

we got there earlier than our booking time and the staff let us use the spa early.

Everything! From my entrance to meet an greet by an amazing receptionist Joanna! Professional warm helpful introduction to the facility to my room, massage by the perfect professional savanna who made my stay absolute bliss! He sauna , HOT spa emphasise on the word hot was just amazing to end my hard long day at work! Thanks a million I will be back! 10/10 AAA+++

No room service! Kitchen closed! After I paid for this to be told spa was taken away after the manager had told me it was all open for use! False advertising with NO integrity! Very disappointed I wasted my money to stay here!!! Will never stay here again! Don’t lie to your customers!!!!! 0/10

A lot of potential, just needs a little TLC (refurbishment upcoming!) - views of the river and canyon are unbeatable, from some rooms and from the restaurant. Jacuzzi tub a fun feature (though again needs maintenance)

A lot of potential, just needs a little TLC (refurbishment upcoming!). Due to road works it takes a lot longer than it should to get to and from Queenstown and there’s very little going on at Arthur’s Point itself.

Location is superb.

No lift to 2nd floor for husband who had disability and myself with hip pain.Difficult to bring in and take out all our luggage. Would’ve requested 1st floor if had been aware of no lift. Bathroom was not very clean. Husband found black hair in basin, shower soap holder recess was not clean, shower inner walls didn’t appear to have been thoroughly cleaned as had soap scum on them and toilet brush holder had dirty liquid. Wondered if young household staff hadn’t been adequately trained. Room had a great deal of light coming in from hall lights throughout the night due to gaps around the door, which I found difficult as I like complete darkness. Website says restaurant is open every night but in fact is only Friday and Saturday. Not many other options nearby for food.

The pool / sauna / rain showers were exquisite and just what I needed after days of hiking. The staff was very attentive and approachable and the dinner was excellent. I could have spent all my time in their beautiful dining room with amazing views. This is such a refuge from the craziness of Queenstown.

The spa (massages) weren’t available at convenient times. I wanted laundry done but their machine was older and could not guarantee Eve cold water wash.

Breakfast menu offered delicious choices. A beautiful place to experience peace and serenity.

We understand renovations will take place next year so the matters of disrepair in some areas in our room will be attended to no doubt.

The location was nice close to coronet peak.

Old building made to look modern. Spa facilities are poor. I saw 2 people slip in the pool area whilst being careful. Balcony door didn't lock. Smell of smoke from the open fire throughout the building. Sheets had stains on them. Restaurant wasn't open most nights. There is no compendium in the room for local services or about the facility.

The view was lovely, room was nice confy and spacious. Shower was amazing!!!

More plugs near bed as i have a sleep apnea machine and couldnt charge my phone and use that and the lamp.

The team was very welcoming, it was a very comfortable and value for money. Our breakfast was excellent

Decor was a little dated but was very clean and comfortable

The staff were very friendly with check in and made us feel very welcome , the rooms were very spacious and comfortable, perfect for a weekend getaway

The step up into the bath was pretty high , having a bad back it made it a little bit hard but the hand rails were a godsend

The only thing I did not like is the stairs to your rooms and that the restaurant doesn't serve lunch or dinner

Thought breakfast was going to be a buffet so that was a little disappointing

Didn’t like the fact that you had to fill the jug up in the bathroom to have a hot drink but did have my husband’s favourite tea brand

Beds were uncomfortable, it always smelt like burnt firewood, front desk wasn’t very attentive. The spa and Jacuzzi were all out of order, the hotel and rooms were out of date, needs a good upgrade.

The spa area was beautiful, very impressive marble work. The location is nice & the views were stunning.

The staff in the morning at breakfast were not trained properly. We waited over 45 minutes for breakfast & had to cancel the order because it wasn't put through to the kitchen properly. (We had paid for bed & breakfast.) I wouldn't have minded the mishap, but there was no communication or apology. I could understand if they were busy and understaffed, but there were only 3 people in the dining room at the time. Customer service training is needed here.

I love the decor, the view and the ease of check in. This is a grand old hotel which deserves more appreciation. I really hope it keeps on and on as I hope to visit here again next year.

Quiet, unbelievable scenery and views. Romantic fireplace in our room. Not overwelmed by too many guests. When we wanted a little help it was there for us.

Post Covid lower staff still a problem for all Queenstown. But all staff worked so hard to make up the difference.

Location was excellent!

The breakfast was al carte not buffet, and some parts of it were well below expectations. The spa pool and sauna were not working, which was not mentioned beforehand and no apologies made.

Everything was a little tired, also odd things were wrong for example to get hot water in the sinks I had to move the taps to cold and vice versa. The restaurant was closed each evening. Also please be aware that although booking.com has this down as a “pay at property” stay they will bill you before arrival so make sure your using the payment method you want when booking, I was out when I made the booking and used what was saved in my phone.
