This is an amazing hotel! Our first time in Cape Town and could not have picked a better place to stay. Located in Sea Point, a block away from the promenade, beach, and public transport, including the City Sightseeing tour bus stop. The staff was exceptional! Very kind and accommodating. The room was great as well. A spacious bedroom and bathroom, veranda with lounge chair and ocean view. (Our room was room 6). The on-property restaurant was incredible. The food was always cooked perfect, delicious, and portion sizes were large. Breakfast was included in our stay and was excellent! There are many restaurants nearby, but we ate breakfast and dinner here during our stay because it was so good. Cannot say enough good things about this property. Many thanks to Luc and his staff for making this stay awesome!! Too many small details to mention that makes this hotel exceptional. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed.

There is nothing to dislike. One recommendation might be to install a ceiling fan in the room, just for some air circulation. But the room did have an air conditioner, which was nice.

From being greeted by Luc on New Years Eve and welcomed to the warmest most quaint boutique hotel the beginning of our long awaited journey to Africa was simply amazing ~and when we enjoyed meals in the Bistro {which were several} it was almost as though you could imagine Humphrey Bogart walking down the mysterious hallway passing in front of the reception desk into the Bistro to rendezvous with Lauren Bacall ~thank you Luc and your entire staff for being a part of making the best memory ever!! We long to return!!

We began our Garden Route (Motorcycle Tour) with several acclimatisation days here at the Promenade and our stay remains a main highlight of our 3 weeks in SA. Luc (the owner) is a lovely enigmatic man with an attention to detail which defies belief extending to all the staff who could not be more friendly, fun and attentive. Our spotlessly maintained room was a delight with every imaginable amenity and supremely comfortable bed. The food and fayre in the restaurant is superlative and understandably very popular with local residents (always a good sign) so booking (for Dinner) is a must. We felt the location was ideal being amidst a wide range of shops, bars and eateries with just a short walk to the marvellous Hop-on-off Bus service (Stop 10). Sea Point therefore fell perfectly for us, being close enough to the city centre yet away from the overpriced hubbub of Camps Bay and similar. In conclusion, as said, a highlight of our holiday and when we return to Cape Town we will not give a moments thought to staying anywhere else.

Everything about the property was of an excellent standard. First impression was the distance from the Seafront Promenade and local Bus Routes which are less than a minutes walk away, perfect! Bedrooms were modern, fresh and had everything you could need. Bedrooms were turned over promptly on a daily basis and to a high standard. Restaurant was particularly good and served a variety of items to suit different tastes. The Fillet Steak which was as good as I’ve had and all the Breakfast items prepared very well. Staff were excellent and maintained the high standards we experienced across all areas and really made our stay pleasant. It was perfect.

The host couple are extremely nice people and helped us out a lot. Breakfast is delicious (a lot of warm dish options to choose from), the room facilities are great and the location is very ideal and next to the Seapoint promenade. The place has a generator that keeps everything running even when loadshedding occurs.

Wonderful little hotel within short walking distance of the Promenade and many restaurants. Excellent coffee and the breakfast is one of the best I've ever had. Next time I will have dinner there as well. The owner is just wonderful. They have a back-up generator for power outages. We can't wait to go back!
