it was right in the centre of the old town so easy to get to get to the ferries, buses etc. The bed was large and comfortable. the bathroom was small but had the advantage of a shower that didn’t flood the bathroom. Some people have given this place very bad reviews which to us seemed unfair. The room was a little old fashioned and tired but it was comfortable and clean and spacious.

Apart from a fridge and a tv there were no extras. A hairdryer and perhaps a kettle and cups would have been welcome

Bathroom is not in the bedroom. Staff said it was in the Bookings information, but it does not. It says "Bath" and not "Ensuite bath", but this is completely misleading. Honest properties clearly state "External bathroom", which is not the case here, as Bookings stated. The room/bathroom was not cleaned during the 3-day stay (I mean at least clean, would not go so far as changing sheets or towels). There is not even a small dustbin in the bedroom, so you cannot even throw away a paper or similar. The external bathroom is in the stairs with (a window? a hole) giving into them.

Location is right in the old town, the owner was keen to answer questions

We got Room 2, the private bathroom is not in the bedroom. The room, furniture and mattress are old. It’s too expensive for what it deserved.

The property was perfectly central, walking distance to everything. Beds were extremely comfortable and the host was very friendly. Room was very clean.

The air conditioning worked majority of the time but not all the time.

the city is generally very expensive, but compared to the price, the place was passable at best. the entire place is covered in old carpets, which look dirty. linens and towels were clean though, but it wasn’t what we expected

This guest house deserves a much higher rating than it is currently on Booking.com. We were happy that we were able to book the last room here for 2 adults and 1 child during the high season, in July. The hosts are very kind and attentive. We were greeted by the owner Tomislav, a very polite and hospitable person. We felt at home. There are old photos on the Booking.com. The room has air conditioning, modern large TV, very comfortable beds, refrigerator. The owner provided us with cups, kettle, tea, sugar and all the necessary utensils for breakfast. This is not just a big hotel, you feel like you are in a hospitable family. This family has owned the house for 400 years! You live right in the heart of the historic town of Korcula. The location is just perfect: you can go swimming before breakfast and be back in your room in 5 minutes. At the same time, unlike other apartments in Korcula, this house is located on a quiet street and no one will interfere with your sleep in the evening and early in the morning. There are no cafes or noisy neighbors right below the apartments to disturb your sleep. The room was so big that I kept my road bike and stroller in it! We will be glad to come back here again!

My room was not ensuite, which was not made clear in the booking. My room also had no TV. Furniture is shabby and tired. Fridge in room was noisy.

Nothing

Old, musty, smelly hotel. There were stains on the bedsheets and we saw a cockroach in the hallways. The owner was rude to us and the whole place smelled of cigarettes. It’s cheap for a reason, stay elsewhere!

Nice room with fridge and good shower, in 400 years old building. Short walk to ferry port.
