L'hotel è sulla spiaggia,che lo rende un'ottima location (soprattutto se si prenota una camera vista mare) tuttavia considerando il prezzo c'è qualche pecca.

La doccia in camera presentava un problema: non usciva l'acqua calda. La seconda problematica è stata che la colazione iniziava alle 07 ,in quanto io l'avevo pagata ho chiesto se potessi avere giusto un caffè ed una brioche perché ho dovuto lasciare l'albergo prima delle 07 causa lavoro. La risposta è stata ovviamente negativa. ( Io lavoro in albergo e generalmente se un cliente non può adattarsi all'orario della colazione si prova almeno a fare qualcosa ecco..)

The hotel is in great need of renovation, and refurnishing. There was no hotwater and we had to shower in lukewarm water. The location is nice.

It was so bad I have to say nothing at all and this was a complete waste of money.

Its the worst experience I ever had in a hotel and I hope I wont ever have a worst or equal experience again. I booked a singles room through booking and it had nothing, and I reinforce... Nothing! to do with the pictures. It was basically a cell in the castle. Breakfast was very bad and short, not worth the price at all. It was super far from the city center and even so it was super hard to park around the area and it took very long to get anywhere. There was so much noise during the night, the room had zero isolation. Bathroom was basically a closet with shower and toilet and barely any ilumination. I didnt get any sleep at all and to be honest I should've slept on my car given that the bed was so uncomfortable that I couldn't sleep at all. A/c didn't work as well and it was very hot in the room.

Staff were very helpful, room was dual aspect with both windows giving sea view, right beside a beach with crystal clear water and very convenient for public transport in and out of Genoa

There’s not many places to eat in Pegli so try to plan ahead for food or supermarket

The hotel needs a face lift and is very outdated and run down looking. While we understand it was a castle, it needs paint, a good cleaning and repair. The tile floor in the room was very outdated and dirty looking. Cover it with a rug! Electric items like lamps and coffee maker weren't even plugged in and outlets few and far between. There is no elevator and the room was 3 flights up! None of that was in the description. Furniture in the room was old and beat up looking. We chose to pay for parking but had to leave the car key. Breakfast was minimal and buffet style but not plentiful and it seemed some of the items were there the day before. Even the garden to eat in outside, needs work. Set up on outside tables lacking or inconsistent.
