All the front desk staff were courteous and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, equipped with the basic needs for travellers. The location was excellent.

A front desk staff was so kind to help us book a cab but the cab driver charged us way more ($40 difference), based on what the front desk staff told us. As travellers, we were clueless about the prices and charges so we sought help from Meriton and Rhys, a reservation specialist, dismissed our quest for help readily. We had the best experience visiting Sydney up until the point of being scammed by the Pakistan cab driver from the Silver Taxi (pickup at 4:30am from Meriton to the airport) and the reservation specialist's response.

Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Location was excellent right in the middle of Chinatown next to the light rail. Plenty of food choice’s near by.

Pool was cold and spa pool was cool. Did not like the pillows there were too fat.

Had to ask for washing powder coffee more wash gel etc no clear instructions on tv channels so unable to get all channels or working dishwasher not able to start it etc. After travelling and tired easier access to things is important Had to call for assistance and they did provide very quickly after asking.

Very convenient location

Bit cool in the room so I put the air conditioner on to warm up a bit. But the vents looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years -thought it safer to turn it off.

Not enough housekeeping, I stayed over Easter and there’s was absolutely no cleaning, so they take the money but don’t provide the service. The staffs attitude was terrible, especially the Spanish receptionist, there was a cockroach on the 31st floor for several days. I’m currently staying here again and I regret it so much as I’m experiencing a worse experience.

Only a doona on the bed so had to run the air conditioner as cold as it would go all night. Would like to have had a light blanket and been able to sleep without using the air conditioner. Shower leaked and floor was very slippery when wet.

We liked the fully equipped room, we could use the cooktop, refridgerator, washing machine and dryer, amazing property located in the heart of the city!

Toilets can be a little more cleaner please. The seats weren't tidy enough, also the wash basin water was clogging, these needs to be maintained please.

Heel goed hotel op een prima locatie. Vlakbij het centrale station in Sydney en de stadstram is om de hoek. Vriendelijk en deskundig personeel. Ben hier vaker geweest en het blijft onverminderd een heel goed hotel met uitstekende faciliteiten.

Location and super friendly staff

Very good location in Haymarket a few minutes' walk from Central Station. All 3 tram routes pass nearby so very handy for Darling Harbour, Circular Quay etc. (Need an Opal card for transport, available at tram stops and 7-11 stores etc.) In middle of Chinatown with wide range of oriental cuisines available and all others in easy reach.

Room on floor 18 with not particularly interesting view. Hard to find anything else to criticise! Glad we didn't need parking as it is very expensive.

It was a bit noisy outside St paddy’s day. Understandable and not the hotels fault . Had to wait for our room to be ready again they had a very busy day .good clean room worth the wait

The dishwasher was hit and miss with working.

It was immaculately clean and we also thought the location was great.

At night, we could hear the street noises rising up, sirens, cars revving, etc. It was not too intrusive, but seeing as I had to mention something I did not like, that was the only thing.

Location: Around the corner of the tram stop "Chinatown", close to Central Station - but unfortunately no view, just in those suites with a balcony on the side looking South-West. We liked the idea to have a balcony - like shown in the booking.com picture; unfortunately we didn't get a balcony (when we showed the picture with a balcony - including a city view - in the reservation confirmation during check-in at the front desk they said the luxury suites have no balcony: "Booking.com has the wrong picture"). The room looked good - before you found out about the poor light situation in the evening ("Interrogation lamp" above the bed). The bed was great - but housekeeping (new bed linen, new towels) and cleaning was scheduled after the fourth day only.

You cannot opt-out of marketing issues if you want to use the hotel wifi !!! For "down under" guests only: there's not one USB plug for your cell phone in the "luxury suite" (every normal hotel has it attached to the lamps next to the bed already). A foreign visitor without an adapter cannot use his shaver or charge his laptop - Australian plugs only. No lamp above the kitchen sink, the safe and micro wave very close to the floor. Housekeeping after four days only ??? Five Stars ????? (Motto: Everybody in the army should have learned to make his bed ! Take care of your garbage, don't drop things on the floor as there is no self-service broom or vacuum cleaner available). We had to beg for new bath towels again and again, no kitchen linen towel available anyway ("You can have an extra small hand towel"). The shower leaked and created a dangerous, slippery floor in the bathroom. Anyway, the guests were asked to review the hotel service on tripadvisor ("We love feedback").

The check in was efficient. The rooms are a good size with excellent amenities, and the younger people enjoyed the pool and gym. We liked that windows are openable - much appreciated. The car-parking was excellent! The location was wonderful - within 50 metres of two tramlines.

staff were efficient but did not offer much extra assistance. I wanted to book through Meriton but your website showed no avalaible rooms - yet all the booking sites had rooms??

The location is fantastic for getting around Sydney. The size of the room was also great, as well as having a washer and dryer. They accommodated us checking in early.

Because we checked in early, we got a very low floor, so we stared directly into a building. The room also smelled a bit musty.
