Nothing really if i have to say something.. The waterboiler to make tea or Coffee was missing in the room. But thats not a dealbreaker

Over the years I have been staying at various Kyriad hotels in France because they offer a good product for a reasonable price. The Kyriad facility in Thionville during my last stay had a problem with its air conditioning system which unfortunately occurred during the weekend. After discovering this issue after check-in I asked the desk for a room with a window that could be opened. Windows in all rooms facing the motorway cannot be opened to avoid noise. The duty officer of the hotel went out of her way to find a suitable room with open window, which ensured that I had a most comfortable sleep. Well done.

It was a budget hotel that met my needs….essential comforts only….bed and shower were fine. Breakfast was good as were the staff.

Ventilation in the front facing rooms on to an autoroute was practically non existent; I had to ask staff to turn on the A/C as there were no windows I could open. My card reader room access also failed on one night and the emergency number did not have an international prefix for overseas travellers….I was saved my a local EU resident who called for me.

Reception, you must to change your attitude!!!

Conveniently situated near the highway. Hotel is modern and clean. Room had 3 separated beds but only because we specifically asked.

TV wasn’t working but the man of the reception fixed it right away for us. Furthermore (Hotel staff could not do much about it) there was a baby in the room next to us (in fact with a communicating door), who cried the whole night 😣

room was adequate for an overnight stay, the facility was quirky with lots of auto memorabilia, Staff were polite and informative and there is a range of restaurant options within walking distance. Breakfast is typical for a euro autoroute stopover.

The booking reservation had us down as one person and no breakfast although once i showed the receptionist my confirmation of two people for two breakfasts it was sorted immediately.

A good budget hotel.

Nothing to complain about in that price range.
