Il disagio delle scale da fare per raggiungere l’albergo. Ma tale disagio viene superato dalla posizione strategica dell’hotel che regala una vista mozzafiato con tramonti unici e romantici

The hotel is convenientely located close to a beautiful beach and very good restaurants. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room were clean and cosy. Tasty breakfast with a variety of sweets. I highly recommend this hotel!

Hotel is really a few steps from the beach, but this is about it. The beach is the only entertainment that can be found nearby. To get to the center of the town called Forio you'll have to walk about 20 minutes along the road. This part of the road is not covered by regular buses, so only 2 smaller buses are running and unfortunately you'll have to wait for them 30 minutes on average (usually under the hot sun during the day). Poseidon Gardens are also about 20 minutes on foot from the hotel. The bus stop for the main bus routes is 10 minutes away or you'll need to get to the town of Forio and catch a bus there. If you are planning to explore the island I would recommend to stay elsewhere, closer to main bus routes. If you are looking for quiet and peaceful vacation on the beach this place will do. There is a restaurant and a cafe also a few steps from the hotel, however the restaurant is only open for dinner 2 days a week (Friday and Saturday), all other days they close by 8 pm (kitchen closes earlier, but you can still grab a pizza to go). I wish I knew all these details before I booked this hotel, so hopefully this information will be helpful to others.

Hotel is small and nice, quite clean, but sea view is somewhat obstructed by the restaurant buildings under it and the hills on both sides (we had a much better sea view at our previous hotel, where it was advertised as partial sea view compared to this direct sea view, which we paid extra $$). Breakfast is very basic - some fruit, coffee, juice, bread, 2 types of meat and 1 type of cheese, some pastries, hard boiled eggs. That's it. We were offered omlet or other type of made to order eggs the first day, but no single time after that. No other hot food for breakfast was offered. Overall Island of Ischia is not a paradise one would expect, so maybe this impacted the impression of the hotel as well. Please be careful with scooters - it is tempting to rent one since transportation is limited, but people unfortunately get into pretty bad accidents on those resulting in hospitalizations with life threatening conditions.

Teresa and Mario were fabulous hosts, so helpful and accommodating. You can really feel that they care about their guests and want them to have the best time. The view from the property, the beach only a minute away from your room, the delicious restaurant next door are things we enjoyed while we stayed there as well as the breakfast Nd lovely terrace.

We are an American family of four who wanted an authentic Italian beach vacation. I hesitated in booking this hotel because there is no pool but, as the beach was so close, the reviews so good, and the price so reasonable, we booked it. I'm so glad we did! The location is great - the beach is a fantastic cove for kids to play in and you can easily walk to Poseidon Thermal Gardens for pools, and Forio for shops. There are auto, scooter, and bike rentals very close. We stayed four nights and it was the most relaxed we've felt in a long time. The staff is exceptional - very accommodating and attentive. The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable.

The nearby beach has a lot of trash and needs a beach clean up day or even some trash cans for people to throw things away. It would also be nice to have access to a pool.

Amazing hotel and great value for money, Mario was so helpful. He organised a takeaway for us personally one night it was raining and did everything he could to help us enjoy our stay.

Only thing is for anyone with mobility issues there are alot of steps down to the hotel was fine for us.
