The staff were great and as a Marriott it is a reliable standard but frankly this hotel could have been anywhere. It didn’t feel like Costa Rica but overall it was worth the stay

We rented a room with forest view and the room they gave us has no view at all all we can see was a roof I asked to be changed to a forest view room and they were charging me $70 extra per night after ai complained the gave us a room with a better view with no charge

We loved everything. The staff was amazing. We liked the way the pool was laid out and gave everyone a semi private area. The rooms and property were unique and clean. We also loved having the coffee bar open 24 hours.

The only thing we will bring next time is a fan for our room. We couldn’t get the room cool enough.

The views were nice, valet was very kind and the breakfast was tasty. They sent my partner a birthday cake which was a nice detail.

Broken ice machines, several resort activities were not available, bikes were broken, outdoor showers were not working.

Service, room and food

Noise at the pool, there was construction going on the whole weekend, which was a real bother. I thought it was really a miss that they allowed that kind of noise in the weekends in the middle of high season. Also, I could hear everything about the room above me, which again I found baffled.

Very beautiful property located on ample grounds well manicured gardens and golf course. Isolated and feels very secure. Nicely arranged and connected swimming pools with lots of shade and sunlight too.

This is a great property that promises a lot but does not deliver. Coming back from the pool at 3:30 PM and our room is not cleaned. Next day the door would not open (had to wait 20 minutes for somewhere to change batteries in the lock) in evening remote does not work (batteries again). Two days later there is no shower gel in the bathroom, I left the message on the table for the housekeeping, no reaction. We tried 3 restaurants located in the hotel and the food is below average (not acceptable for a 5 star resort, for over 600 euro per night)

very clean, the grounds were beautiful and well kept.

the beds/pillows were terrible, the food was very similar from restaurant to restaurant. we were only there 4 days and we got tired of the food.

The room, staff and pools

A lot of hidden fees and there arent a lot of food choices for lunch and dinner.

Everything!! The pool was especially amazing! For anyone that thinks the pool music is constant and loud, this resort is family oriented, so it’s not meant to be a zen quiet experience! Los Suenos Marriott far exceeded our expectations and the staff was super attentive and friendly! We will back to Los Suenos!!
