Checkin was excellent. Location is abit far and definitely need a car. Room size was big and Mattress heater is essential to keep us warm during winter weather.

There is no wifi in the room which is an absolute necessity nowadays in our tech connected world. If I had know this earlier, I would not have booked into Bicheno by the Bay.

Another great stay at Bicheno on the Bay. Had friends in tow so decided on a 2 bedroom bungalow. Beds very comfortable and clean. Linen is lovely. We’ll set out and modern kitchen. Heat pump kept us toasty !

Lacking wine glasses. There was only one and a champagne flute. A few more would be appreciated

The 2 bedroom unit was located up the hill. One bedroom ones can get the sea view. The unit we stayed at has a new kitchen, toaster, microwave, fridge, stove, utensils, dishwashing liquid, and foam - basically fully equipped. Living room has 2 sofas, split system aircon, TV and remote. There is WIFI in the unit. We stayed in winter - the split system could not cope with the cold but there are electric blankets in both rooms. The bathroom has heated lights - water pressure wqs adequate, has hot water as well. Towels, shampoo, bodywash provided. The place was quiet and peaceful. There was a small kids playground within the compound along with a small lake with canoes / kayaks. Check in was a breeze, got to the reception, collected the key and off I went to the unit. The place itself is about 1 minute drive away from Lobster Shack, and around a minute drive to the Blowhole as well. Both places are walking distance as well. Can walk to the rocks leading to the beach in front of the property. Shops, food outlets, fuel are about 2 minutes drive. Waubs Beach is where we saw penguins. Don't forget to bring red light or cover your flashlight / torch with red cellophane as bright lights can blind penguis temporarily leaving them vulnerable to predators.

The aircon heater function was unable to cope with how cold it was but not a deal breaker.

The room was set out nicelt. It was neat, tidy and just what we needed Location was great, with a lovely view and it was very close to all surrounds - well within walking distance to everywhere.

There were some items in the cupboard from the previous guest I am assuming. Some noise from outside the property, but that is to be expected! Very little informaiton was provided about Bicheno and what it had to offer.

A quaint, cozy self contained one bedroom cottage with plenty of room between the cottages to allow for privacy and un-impeded ocean views. We could walk everywhere and enjoyed the restaurants as recommended to us by the lovely staff at reception. We also explored Walers lookout and found 4 species of native orchid. all within 200 meters of our accommodation.

Very tired and in need of repair and maintenance. Wouldn’t recommend it

Great spot for a stay at Bicheno. A quiet lil town & this holiday hot spot in across the road from the beach with a playground & pool for the kids. The cottage was soooo cute & the beds were extremely comfortable
