great location right at the seafront, easy modes of transportation. Food is generally good
What was supposedly a suite was placed one floor above the airco vents, very noisy, couldn't sleep properly

Hotel public spaces are kept frigid. On entry to room, temp was set to 20°c. Even after turning off, room never to warmed to a comfortable temp. Too bad as rest of hotel is great.

The rooms are big.
The SPA was not existent, the whirlpool was empty and saunas etc. were off… and the pool was in the shade most of the time. The hotel staffs english skills were not sufficient and the breakfast room does not look as pretty as in the pictures. Also, if you want to stay somewhere nice in Panama City, I recommend to stay in the old town instead.

Ruth the Manager for reception was very nice.
For the amenities when doing the reservation, I did include breakfast and when I checked in, they told me that it was not included in for the rate I was paying. I was not happy at all when they told me that.

Restaurant staff was great. Front desk staff was a little slow.
My room on the first night had a leak from the AC or some other source. If someone checked the room prior they would have known.

Safe was not working, the hotel did not fix it. Breakfast and dinner were terrible. Staff in the restaurant was not helpful or friendly.

The hotel was cold and impersonal. No good vibes at all. The pool area was a disaster.

Location is good for running in the morning.
I was disapointed. A 5 Star hotels creates expectations that you have to fulfil. Missing Bellboy might be a minor thing. But missing the room to clean up during the day and not being able to ensure that the next day the room will be cleaned up, that was really a lag of service and responsability.
On top: On check out I got an information folio, this is not an official invoice. I asked again about an official invoice and it was only given me with some resistance. I had to show them the cardboard they have just next at the reception desk where it is informed that leaving without an official invoice is a tax violation crime penalized with x % of the invoice value plus extra charges. I felt this was mean and completely inresponsible from the reception stuff.
