I took my parents and grand children to Dwellingup for an 'adventure' to go on the train into the forest and to climb trees. My parents loved the house, it reminded my mother of the farm house she grew up in, in South Africa; my father, an avid photographer, enjoyed photographing the various birds in the garden. The grandkids loved the ample garden and the highlight was when the neighbours Rooster came to visit! We had a very good adventure in our 'holiday home'.

Shower a little awkward to adjust. Kept turning left. Mattress could be a little more comfortable. A bit firm.

We had a lovely mid-winter stay in this cosy house. Such a great location for the whole family to come and go to pump track and town centre. Loved the beautiful garden and the birds it attracted.

Spotlessly clean historical timber cottage. Practicality of air con with option of log fire. Shower is over the bath, steps to entry front and rear, consistent with the era. Very well stocked kitchen, good sized fridge. We enjoyed cooking brekkie and dinner. Nice linen, very cosy for our mid winter stay. Easy comms with owner.

We had a family of 5 (2xA + 13,12,8yr olds), the property had plenty of space, lovely gardens, it's clean and well appointed with linens and towels, tea and coffee etc. Perfect location for exploring Dwellingup and very close to the tourist centre, skate park with a pump track and pub (amazing meals there!)

Generally we were delighted with our stay in this spacious and comfortable house in a large and beautiful garden.
However, there was one major problem and that was the shower over the bath. The slippery bottom made it hard to feel comfortable even with the rail to hold on to, and the non-slip mat made little difference so that we had to put the bath mat to stand on. Also the small side screen made it difficult to reach the taps.
Unfortunately, this was such a problem that we would not feel able to stay in the house again, which is a pity as the house was lovely otherwise.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Mill House in Dwellingup. The garden is beautiful, and the house had everything a family could need. Kids loved it. It was all very easy and communication with the host was fantastic. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely stay thank you. House was quirky and well equipped. Only thing that we could have done with was laundry facilities if we were staying longer but there were ample bedding and towels. Kids lived playing in the garden

Great for bird lovers. Lovely big garden. Comfy bed and you should definitely bring some wood and have the log fire burning on a cool night. So cosy and relaxing.

Great spot and great house with so many little touches to make the stay enjoyable and relaxing.
Well set up for a crawling baby and toddler with limited items around that they could damage, break or hurt themselves on.

Lovely getaway
My family had a great time at the Dwellingup mill house! The cottage and gardens are gorgeous and peaceful, we felt surrounded by nature and very relaxed. The house was comfortable well stocked, and it was a short walk to the town centre where the kids were excited to use the skate park and bike track.
Even though the temperature was high 30’s during our stay, the house and gardens felt cool and we barely used the aircon.
A shirt drive away to lane Poole reserve and trees adventure means there is lots to do.
