Emplacement exceptionnel

Sometimes it is difficult to rate a property as it may not be all things to everyone. For us, en route to France and needing an overnight stay, the property was excellent. Not too far from our route and well worth the short drive. The property was in a most scenic part of the mountains and was like a stand alone farmhouse style. The host Alex and his son, greeted us with a smile and gave us information pertaining to the area, of which two recommendations we took. One was a walk through the countryside to the adjoining village which was a great joy and the other was to a simple local restaurant where we ate simple but tasty meals. Our room in the house was large and airy with a scenic outlook of great beauty. The bed and linen were superb and offered us a lovely rest. In an adjoining common area there was the facility to make a hot drink or to purchase cold beverages. A very homely way to provide extra touches. The shower was good and strong and the bathroom modern. We were delighted to have found such a personalised place for us to stay on our journey. Our only regret was that we had to move on the next day as we would have been very content extending our stay.

Wonderful location in the mountains. Close to lakes/parks with walking routes. Accomodation itself has everything for a relaxt stay: facilities, attention for details, great atmosphere, BBQ, nice dog etc.

Alex perfect host, flexible check-in. Nice, rural mountain setting with amazing views. House is traditional style, but apartment is very modern and stylish and has everything. Donkeys, chickens, cat and dog all make it special. Setup is focused on eco sustainability. Road cycling I did was great, nice routes.
