the staff was excellent and really helpful, they got us a ride to the bus station when we left and made sure we caught the right bus. the breakfasts were very good, and the outside patio was very nice also. we didn’t use the pool.

it was brand new, but it seemed like the construction cut corners, the hall roof (and some rooms) leaked during a rainstorm, and even our door knob was a little loose. I could tell the staff was frustrated with these things as well and I’m sure they are working hard to fix them.

The convenient, quiet location. Smaller property and not a massive corporate hotel.

The step up going into the room was a trip hazard. Bathroom was small and shower door broken.

We liked the freshly made breakfast and the 5 different options for breakfast very much! Also everything was clean (the room, bathroom, hotel in general). The neighborhood seems safe

The mattress was too soft due to its age. They could get new ones. But maybe it was only in our room... We definitely would come back when in San Salvador!

The air conditioning was in excellent condition and the shower had hot water.

The rooms and social spaces are small, with thin walls that don’t serve to isolate the sound of the street or the corridors, which is why the noise made it difficult for me to rest at night It was a bad experience since it was the only thing I was looking for in this hotel. The service staff is rude (they don't even respond to a "Good morning" greeting) and they have an outdated billing system. I think they need to improve both the infrastructure of the property and their staff, unless they decide to lower the lodging rate.

The hotel is incredibly comfortable in all areas. The bed is 5 out of 5 stars, us being a very tall couple were able to fit comfortably in it and it was a great sleeping experience. The breakfast was plentiful for us both, we decided to go with the salvadorian típico and it was very tasty. We did have to ask the receptionist with extra towels and sheets and they quickly gave us some. Had a great stay there and I'm reconsidering if I should cancel my other stay at a different hotel in San Salvador and go with what I know and stay in Tazumal. See you all soon!

I gave this 9 out of 10 because parking is a little tedious. The hotel is in a residential area with lots of houses and it gets very busy, so be aware that parking half a block away might ne necessary. The neighborhood is very safe, so that won't be an issue.
