Best place you can stay close to the airport. Gorgeous property with an amazing terrace with an incredible view of sunset and the mountains. Owners were incredibly accommodating and helpful - and the bedroom was lovely as well - our favorite of our time in Costa Rica. Included breakfast was delicious.

It was that case when your expectations had been exceeded - we just looked for a hotel for one night before departure from CR, but now we know for sure we come back.

Nothing except… it is not a 5 stars hotel, it’s not a luxury one, but… it’s amazing place where you can deeply relax in comfortable room and other part of hotel’s garden surrounded by fantastic views, to see sunset, enjoy a breakfast made by owners aspecially for you, and say “hello” or “bye-bye” to Costa Rica. Excellent place to start your holiday in Costa Rica! The hotel is very close to the airport and has a secure parking. Our room had an amazing view on the jungle and the Poas Volcano. The host is very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast is excellent. There is a nice pool and you can spot some birds in the garden.

One minor detail but the sheets of the bed didn't smell very fresh. Otherwise, excellent place to stay, would defenitely recommend!!

We didn't expect to find such a nice and beautiful place behind the fence! Burak and Daniel are fantastic hosts. We stayed in a family room with 5 persons and it was really comfortable, with a nice shower (including shampoo and conditioner :-)). Also the breakfast was very nice (European style).

We've only stayed for one night (last day of our vacation in Costa Rica), we wished we could stay longer.

What a fabulous stay! Only wish it could have been longer. Staff made us feel like old friends, and I loved being able to borrow a yoga mat to practice with the lovely view in the morning. Every little detail has been thoughtfully considered for guest comfort. The breakfast (including homemade bread!) was excellent. Was also impressed to learn that they accept Bitcoin.

This place is only a 15 minute drive from the SJO airport (when there's no traffic!), yet so peaceful and beautiful. We especially liked: -the gorgeous scenery with trees, flowers, bushes, and lovely views -the kind, friendly, and helpful owner/manager Burak -delicious, fresh breakfast (cheese and tomatoes, freshly-made bread with butter and jam, hard-boiled eggs, fresh fruit, coffee) served in the indoor/outdoor dining area with a beautiful garden view -the room and bathroom were so clean; we loved that they have big bottles of shampoo/soap/conditioner, rather than the little ones that get thrown away after each use

I didn't see any bins for recycling. Besides that, everything else was wonderful.

Our time at Hotel Vista Linda Montana was EXCEPTIONAL! Our hosts were out of this world, the hotel grounds are SPECTACULAR, and we HIGHLY recommend staying here! Our rooms were perfectly clean and comfortable, and so many details to mention--coffee, tea, amazing pool, nature observation deck, open air lounge area, gorgeous gardens, too many too list! This place is PERFECT!! Our hosts drove us to the airport the following morning, gave us breakfast bread that they had just baked and fresh sandwiches and fruit to go with us! They helped us find a perfect dinner location and truly were amazing hosts! This was our final night in Costa Rica and by staying here, it was the perfect ending to a perfect vacation! We cannot say enough how AMAZING this hotel is! Quick & easy trip to the airport.

Guys if u wanna have a small piece of paradise not far from the airport then this is it!!! Amazing place with great pool, beautiful garden and stunning view!!! On top of that the owners are so nice (thank you Daniel and Burak🙏🏻) that you feel like you are home. They are so welcoming and helpful that I was speechless. They really make you feel super welcomed and special. They even bake their own delicious bread😍 breakfast is also super good. One of the best hotels I ever stayed! Great energy all around the place guaranteed! Cannot thank them enough for my stay! If I ever come back (hopefully one day) I will definitely stay with them again. Much love and thank you❤️

Lovely gem of a place in the hills above alajuela. Quiet and spectacular view. Nice little pool which the kids enjoyed. Big room with coffee machine and comfortable beds. Friendly owner who provided transport to the airport and packed our breakfast to take away as we had to leave very early.

I loved this place but I want visitors to be clear. You come here for the beautiful view, setting, and wonderful hosts. There is a wonderful pool area and a beautiful viewing deck. There is an open air huge common area where you can eat, work, or socialize in rain or shine becasue it is completely covered and has everything you need. It was terrific in the rain, because you could be "outdoors" in a wide open space and not get stuck in your room. You do not come here for luxury bedding and AC. I didn't need it and wasn't looking for that.

It didn't bother me, but you are in a residential area and will have to Uber to most places. I agree with another review that after rain, there is a small of sewage, but this has nothing to do with the hotel. I only say this so no one can come and complain..... It is a special place and you should know before you go.

Amazing! This B&B is absolutely incredible! A must stay if you are flying in or out of San Jose. The view alone is spectacular - it is hard to believe we are only a 15 drive to the airport! My husband and I booked a room for our last night in Costa Rica - we arrived and were greeted warmly by the staff, who showed us to our beautiful room and made recommendations for dinner. Just about 10 minutes away by car are some great food options, or you can order in for delivery! We opted to get take out food and sit in the outdoor covered dining area that overlooks the mountains. We had a quite night sleep and then a great breakfast made by our hosts. The hospitality is the best of the best, and the hotel is amazing! THIS IS A MUST IF YOU ARE IN SAN JOSE AIRPORT AREA!!!

Nothing - this was a perfect overnight for us. Loved every moment. Even if you dont come with a car, you can order food directly to the hotel and their is breakfast available for free, and beverages and kitchen ware at your disposal - this is a very relaxing options where you really dont have to think about a thing!

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Vista Linda Montana. We only stayed one night, upon our arrival into San Jose before traveling elsewhere, and wished we'd have stayed longer. It's a stunning, lush property with wonderful views. Burak is a great host and made us feel very welcome. There's an honor bar in the kitchen which was a nice surprise after our long day of travel and the wine was a nice way to wind down while sitting on our patio. We had a family room which came with a queen bed and twin bed and was the perfect size for our family of 3. The breakfast is also worth mentioning - so delicious - fresh fruit, homemade bread and preserves, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, olives and cheese. It was a feast and a nice way to kick off our first morning in Costa Rica. Highly recommend.

Fantastic hosts making your stay as comfortable as it can be. Spacious, well equipped and clean rooms, stunning views, swimming pool, superb breakfasts. You are in nature yet close to town and airport. Fully recommend!
