The property was beautiful and in a great location. The staff was exceptional.

They did not have air conditioning and it was a very warm few days.

There was no AC and there was no use for the window.

The localisation is perfect! The hotel is in front of one of the 9 canals in the heart of the most charming neighbourhood in Amsterdam! The staff is super friendly and helpful. And they offer you free water, coffee and all in the minibar is for free. The installations are very comfortable, and the room is beautiful.

The only downsides are: there's no AC, so in the summer it can be very hot sometimes, and the stairs are annoying. If you have locomotion problems, you should ask to stay on the 0 floor. But the hotel staff messages you in advance asking this, don't miss the message. 🤭

They didn't clean up the room. Didn't change sheets on bed. We had to tell 3 times. We had to ask 3 time for tea bags... coffe. Coffe machine didn't work. No air-conditioning.

Great location, friendly staff on check-in (Ali), clean room. I was on third floor, and had no problems carrying my luggage up the stairs

The only positive thing about this Grand Canal Boutique Hotel is the location.

The hotel condition (at least for the room I stayed in) is not suitable for any human being to stay in. I checked into a room at around 8pm on 15th June and it was super hot, stuffy and noisy. There was not aircon with the room temperature reaching above 33 degree celcius, and the window could not be opened, but still very noisy with window closed. My upstairs neighbour was feeling exactly the same. Both my wife and i managed to sleep only 3 hours. We checked out the next day except we booked three nights, requesting for compensation or refunding. We got no response from the hotel. Super high rate has been charged. The hotel insists on "terms & conditions". If a hotel room is not suitable for human living, how can the owner/manager still sell it as a "hotel room" at a high rate. I cannot believe this happens in a developed country.

we did ask for ground or first floor room and that may have been a mistake. I did appreciate not having to lug bags upstairs but our room view was of a small internal courtyard, dark and uninspiring.

Very scruffy and worn interiors. Bedroom furniture scratched, damaged. Broken safe did not work. Shower curtain fell off. Sink blocked. Small threadbare towels. Definitely NOT worth the money

hotel was absolutely fantastic! very clean, lovely Morden room, smelt amazing as soon as your walked in! bed was extremely comfortable!! staff were all polite and so helpful! would definitely recommend and stay there again!

Great location; great facilities

The room was lovely - clean, stylish and comfortable.

There was hardly any tea or coffee in the room; we had to ask for more every night and in the morning, when the rooms were tidied, they were removed again. The "help yourself" breakfast did not really work - there was usually nothing on offer in the mornings.

They decorated the room with balloons and rose petals for my birthday, provided free hot drinks to takeaway and snacks in the lobby. We stayed in room 20, we didn't realize it had its own private garden when booking but would be really nice on a nice day to have the option to sit outside!

The noise coming from the room above us was a lot throughout our stay Our bathroom door was broken when we arrived we did get this fixed but it meant having a contractor in the room on two occasions over our stay The bed was two single beds which for a couples holiday is always an annoyance but overall the bed was super comfortable Room itself could do with a mirror and better lighting

We loved the hotel, the location was very central and close to everything we wanted to do in Amsterdam. The room and bathroom are very clean, comfortable and modern. Would definitely stay there again.
