They were doing some construction works so sometimes we would wake early because of the drilling. Except from that everything was perfect.

The location and the view were outstanding. It was a generally quiet location with a commanding view of the lake. Most importantly to us, we could walk to town and access trails easily.

The only drawback was that chairs on the patio were not particularly comfortable. We enjoyed a glass of wine every evening to watch the sunset. There are 2 tables with wooden benches facing the lake and it would be nice to have some more comfortable chairs for lounging.

Very homey B&B with comfortable rooms & bathrooms, charming hosts and home-made breakfast cakes [eggs if you want them] and a wonderful view of the lake from the guest veranda and from the rooms with a balcony. Private parking. Near the main north-south road so a great way to avoid the expensive lodging prices in Varenna or worse, Bellagio, if you have a car. Bellano is quiet but has a pleasant lake-side promenade with some very good restaurants and gelaterias.

My only complaint was that they allow dogs, and the small, brutish beasts staying in 2 of the rooms while we were there could not tolerate the existence of other dogs, so there was way too much barking. For staying here, as for many locations around the lakes, you will want to have rented a small, nimble car for negotiating the hairpin turns on narrow roads.

The owners were lovely. The view from our room was also spectacular.

Elena and Giovanni are wonderful hosts. Very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing with fabulous views of Lake Como. Our room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast excellent with a wide range of pastries, homemade cakes, ham, cheese, cereal etc. Elena is happy to order pizza to be delivered, which you can enjoy on the terrace overlooking the lake. The village of Bellano is pretty and has everything you need. Can be reached by a ten minute walk or 5 minute drive.

Really nice and friendly host, super beautiful location and amazing views. Our room was perfect size, nice and clean.

Breakfast was okay (like you expect from home accommodation), but the coffee machine was not working properly so we were not able to get our morning coffee.

The room was beautiful and very clean. It was well designed, there could be observed the care for details. The view from our room was magnificent, better than it was shown in the photos. The parking was free and the breakfast very nice! The hosts are very nice and willing to help. We enjoyed a lot to stay here, one of the best locations to stay at Lake Como!

When we arrived at the place at previously scheduled time, there was nobody to open the doors for us. I called on the number at Booking.com and somebody answered in Italian. When he realized we dont speak his language, he hung up. We truly didnt know what to do and we waited for the host for about 20-30 mintues. Eventually he arrived and gave us the keys. The room was very small and looked differently than on pictures. Elena, who is the host, approached us in the evening and informed us about the breakfast time and the fact that we need to leave „absolutely at 10”. On the fridge, there was the statetment with Capital Letters that if we take anything from fridge we will be billed for that and it is better to confess right away because they will find out. I was surprised by the lack of hospitality, but I can understand that it is her way of Communication. However, her behavior on the last day left me dumbstruck. As requested we left the room before 10 am and asked Elena to leave our bags at her place, so we can go sightseeing. She accepted our request. I emphasized that I had very important stuff in my bags, so with her help I chose appropriate place for my luggage. When we came back, I was surprised that our things were left in front of the property. I entered the property and I tried to find Elena, but the House was closed (it was always open and that’s why I wanted to put my things in appropriate place). I thought that they went somewhere, so they closed the house and left our things outside. However, they were sitting at the back of the possesion. I tried to explain Elena her mistake, but she didn’t listen. I informed her that 2 years ago in similar manner my luggage was stolen, but instead of understanding she offered me a grief. For no particular reason, she started shouting at me, first in English, then in Italian, weaving into sentences vulgar words („cazzo”, etc.). In the end she threw us out the door.

The best thing about this b&b is the view. It is located on a hill side with a nice view of the lake. Owners of this family-run boutique hotel are quite nice people. Rooms are comfortable and clean. There is free wifi in the rooms. Breakfast is very rich and delicious, and it is very pleasent as well with the nice view. There are free parking spots available at the hotel and in front of it. I will definitely stay here if I visit Bellano again.

It is slightly off of the Bellano town center/train station. Even though it is possible to walk, there is very narrow shoulder next to the curved roads and you have to be careful with the drivers and their vehicles, especially at nighttime. Otherwise walking should not take too much time (probably ~10-15 minutes).

This is an amazing accommodation. Everything was superlative: amazing view, super comfy rooms and common areas, perfect breakfast, super friendly and helpful hosts. Such a classy home, i am in love! ❤️
