It's a nice small apartment in a very nice location in the Croix Rousse which is a lively neighbourhood. Big shower, comfortable bed and sofa and tables. Small kitchen with basic tools.

The apartment is basically below ground so very limited light and parking in the area is very expensive so one needs to consider an extra 40 euros per day if you have a car. Communication capability and availability of the host are very limited. I did not see them at all. They knew what time I was due to arrive and they did not tell me they were not going to be in location so I rang the bell and waited without hope. I had to call them to know how to get in. Then they sent me some obscure link not working for me to get the wifi password. Also I was in need of some help and advice and got no replies to my requests. Finally it took me several messages to get the receipt of my stay. It seems to me it would be rather easy to communicate efficiently and improve significantly people experience. Also including a first aid kit in the property would be nice (the city bus I was travelling on had an small accident so my knee was bleeding and it was Sunday night so nothing was open around there so it would have been very useful to have an extra bandaid in order to not stain the sheets which I manage not to do just sacrificing a tshirt).

The information our host gave was wonderful!! Also, I plan to stay here the next time I'm in Lyon. I will be back!!

So hot!! But probably not just this location. Other hotels in Lille were hot, too.

Perhaps more clarity that cooking isn’t possible. There is a microwave and toaster so only suitable where dining out is the daily intention
