Incredible apartment with so many thoughtful touches. The information book was the best I've seen of all the places I've stayed in New Zealand, with information about walks, menus of nearby restaurants and also a lot of information answering potential stay questions eg Wifi, laundry etc. Free laundry and $1 per 10 minutes of dryer, but there's a heated towel rack in your room which we used for the few pieces we washed. Parking just outside our room (but unfortunately the spot in front of our apartment was always taken by someone else!) Bed is lovely and firm, I love a harder set bed. 3 options of pillows available with varying degrees of firmness for you to choose from. Just so thoughtful 🥰 Room is huge. Bathroom is cleverly designed so that you can use the toilet which faces the wall, away from the shower. Kitchen is kindly stocked. The plunger coffee was kept inside the plunger, very cute and thoughtful!

The only one odd thing is, we stayed for 2 nights and they only remade 1 of the 2 beds on the second day and seemed to remove 1 pillow from the double bed. It felt like they had forgotten to complete the job perhaps? This really wasn't a big deal at all to us.

Location to town. Easy walk. Super friendly staff.great lake views.

Noise from upstairs was annoying when trying to sleep.

Very comfortable. Excellent curtains for late sunsets when required. Location was stunning.

We loved this hotel. We booked last minute and didn't know what to expect. It turned out to be one of the nicest places that we stayed in New Zealand. Our room seemed brand new and incredibly well thought out. Heated floors, great kitchen, electronic shades, and a view from the shower out thru the living room on to the lake. There are 2 buildings. One is new and the other is older so not sure if you can expect the same type of room in the older building. Location is close the main street with shops and restaurants.

Amazing accommodation - so clean, such a beautiful view, such a perfect spot, close to the main part of town and all activities, but far enough away to be out of the center of it all. Just a stroll along the beautiful lakefront to most activities. Cannot commend the cleanliness of this place enough - it was sparkling, with the kitchenette looking like everything (kettle, toaster, everything) was brand new. Loved this place!!

The main bed and pillows were not the most comfortable. Found this in all our accommodation, though, so it might be just our standards. There was nothing else that wasn’t perfect here.
